Step 1: Access your email account and myLIM You should have received an email from LIM College notifying you of a Decision Update shortly. This email would have prompted you to log in to your Applicant Status Page to view how to set up your LIM College email account.

Click here to access myLIM >> Select “MYLIM” located at the top left of the page. Sign in to “MYLIM” with the username and password from the previous page. You must have reset your default password in order to access myLIM. Update the Password Reset Questions Answers must be a minimum of two characters long and you must click “save” once you are finished. Select Step 2, “Take me to myLIM Portal”

Step 2: Financial Clearance

Financial clearance requires that 100% of your first semester tuition and fees and/or 100% of your first semester module charges, if applicable, be paid or covered with confirmed financial aid funds and/or third-party payments (i.e. 529 plan funds, GI Bill Veteranâ€™s Benefits, etc.).
Options for payment to ensure financial clearance: 1. Financial Aid: Please review all financial aid awards in our NetPartner portal and accept the awards you intend to use (and decline or reduce any loan funds that you do not want). All accepted, approved and confirmed financial aid funds will be applied as anticipated credit towards your charges for the upcoming module. Please note, all required financial aid documents must be completed in order for the Office of Student Financial Services to apply anticipated aid to your account. Additionally, all creditbased loans must be fully credit-approved and all required documents for disbursement must be submitted.

Step 3: Complete New Student Orientation All students must complete New Student Orientation one week prior to the start of their module.
All new students must attend orientation, which is designed to help you transition into the LIM College community as an online student. New Student Orientation will be available within 48 hours of being accepted.

Step 4: LIM College ID Photo If you plan to visit campus, safety is a top priority at LIM College. In order to keep the LIM College community secure, all students must carry their College-issue ID card at all times. ID cards are also required to enter the LIM College Residence Hall. Photo ID cards will be mailed within four to six weeks of submission to the mailing address used to submit your LIM College application.

Step 6: Placement Exam All undergraduate students who enroll at LIM College must demonstrate their readiness to learn course material successfully. English and mathematics aptitude is assessed and students are placed in appropriate courses based upon level of aptitude. In addition, the college-level English composition and mathematics courses of transfer students will be reviewed for equivalency and students placed in the appropriate courses. Students who do not take the LIM College placement test will automatically be placed in the lowest level courses. Study guides and instructions on accessing the exam(s) are at the conclusion of this guide. It is highly recommended you review them before taking the test. Unless otherwise specified by your Online Advisor you most complete both Math and English. To access the exams, login to MYLIM and choose the â€œBlackBoardâ€? icon underneath Launchpad. Step 10: Student Checklist Set-up your LIM email account

Proof of High School Graduation Submit your official high school transcript to the Office of Online Admissions one week prior to the start of classes.
