Man dies in blaze

A MAN has died following a fire at a house in Northampton. The fire broke out in the first floor lounge of a house in Craven Street, Upper Mounts, yesterday morning. Three fire crews were called to the house to deal with the blaze. Police and fire officers are investigating the death but police said they were not treating the fire as suspicious.
Kart driver in fatal crash A KART driver died at Silverstone yesterday after a high-speed crash at the circuit. The driver, who has not been named but was believed to be aged in his 50s, struck a barrier at more than 100mph in the final race of the Motor Sports Association (MSA) British Superkart championship. He was thrown from his kart and struck by another kart. He died at the scene.
