Presentation: (15 minutes) [T-S] • New vocabulary – explain casual/streetwear • Grammar (basic word order with adjectives) Practice: (25 minutes) [T-S, S-T, S-S] • Drill vocabulary words using flashcards: o Ask students to identify clothes on flashcard. Students should use adjectives to describe both the outfit and the wearer. Then the students will report their partner’s answers back to the class. Production: (10 minutes) [T-S] • Solve the Riddle: Teacher will read the Situation and Hints to students. Students will write down clues and solve the riddle through process of elimination. If Time: Continue work on riddle. Assessment: Informal – listen for difficulty in pronunciation. See what adjectives students would like to learn. Homework: Finish riddle.
