Summer Sunday School 5th - 8th Grades at the 9:15 a.m. hour at West Campus in the Alpha Room. TREK Cafe will meet at 10 a.m. at the East Campus in the Student Center. Following the 10 am service, TREK Connect will meet in the Student Center from 11 - 11:45 a.m.

TREK Summer Challenge Trip Registration is now available for our bi-annual Houseboat Trip, July 28 - August 2, to

Bulls Shoals Lake, Arkansas. This trip is for incoming 9th - 12th graders. Cost is $495 and registration materials are available in TREK and also online at

Jr. High Summer Adventure Trip: To kick off the summer, Souled Out students, incoming 7th and 8th graders, are going on an Adventure Weekend to Expeditions Unlimited in Baraboo, Wisconsin! Students leave June 14 and return June 17. The trip cost is $210. Informational fliers are available in Souled Out and online at

Patchwork Quilting Ministry will meet on Wed., June 12 from 9 a.m. to Noon at the East Campus, Room 201-202. We make baby quilts for the Crisis Pregnancy Center, Elgin. ALCs & More Join us at for more information on Adult Ministries at FBCG. Early Risers invites you to their summer series, “Serve the World,” with guest speakers sharing mission experiences in the

community and around the world. Join Early Risers as they seek to apply God’s Word in serving others through a variety of means. Early Risers meets at 8:00 a.m. in the West Campus Alpha Room (lower level).

Life Builders class will be meeting at 11:00 a.m. from June 9 to Sept. 1 (after Worship Café) in the East Campus Chapel and is welcoming all family members. Please join us as we begin a new study on Nehemiah.

Note the time change for the Seekers class! Starting this Sun., Jun. 9, the Seekers class will meet at 8:45 a.m. in

the East Campus Chapel. Join the class as they explore “Genesis and Science” with Art Pincomb. Seekers welcomes individuals and couples ages 60+.


Missionary of the Week: Yohanna & Dina Katanacho, Bethlehem Bible College, Israel; Pray for their family: that they will take time for recreation together as well as intentionally spend some “down time” to just strengthen the bonds between them. Taste of turkey lunch today at 12 noon in the West Campus Alpha Room features missionary Norita Erickson, who will report on her Kardelen ministry to disabled Turkish children.

Kentucky Construction Mission Trip: We are still accepting applications for the mission trip Oct. 13-18, 2013. Applications can be found online! If you have any questions please contact our Short-Term Missions Coordinator, Kim McCart at Hospitality Team Wanted. July 8-12 FBCG is hosting mission trip teams from across the country. Will you help prepare meals or care for their west campus lodging? Choose your hours. Also, specifically needed is an AED certified adult or teen to be in attendance for an hour each evening. Giving Envelopes If you would like weekly giving envelopes, please sign up at the Welcome Center in the lobby and they will be mailed to your home every two months. You can also pick up some generic giving envelopes if you are not a weekly donor.
