INVITE YOUR FRIENDS TO VBS: KINGDOM ROCK kids will discover how to stand strong for God as they experience incredible Bible-learning experiences in a medieval castle setting. June 24-28, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the West Campus. Register on the lower level of either campus or online (online registration will close on Thursday, June 20th, at 5:00).

VBS is staffed; but we can always use a few more floaters to be available on an as needed basis. Summer Sunday School 5th - 8th Grades at the 9:15 a.m. hour at West Campus in the Alpha Room. TREK Cafe will meet at 10 a.m. at the East Campus in the Student Center. Following the 10 am service, TREK Connect will meet in the Student Center from 11 - 11:45 a.m.

TREK Summer Challenge Trip Registration is now available for the Houseboat Trip, July 28 - August 2 to Bulls Shoals Lake, Arkansas. This trip is for incoming grades 9 - 12. Cost is $495 and registration materials are available in TREK or online at fbcg.com.

Has the biblical city of Sodom been found? Join the Life Builders class at 11:15 a.m. in the East Campus Chapel this Sun., Jun. 16 as special guest speaker Dr. John Moore, an expert in Biblical Archaeology, presents on his involvement in the archaeological dig to discover the city of Sodom.

Missionary of the Week: K. family, Turkey; Please pray the K. family. They coordinate and encourage a network of

ministries and churches that are committed to advancing the gospel in Turkey. They produce literature for teaching discipleship in Turkish culture, lead training seminars, and generally support missions in Turkey. Pray for the safety of Christian workers right now as Turkey is in political upheaval.

Kentucky Construction Mission Trip: We are still accepting applications for the mission trip Oct. 13-18, 2013. Applications can be found online! If you have any questions please contact our Short-Term Missions Coordinator, Kim McCart at kmccart@fbcg.com. Hospitality Team Wanted. July 8-12 FBCG is hosting mission trip teams from across the country. Will you help prepare meals or care for their west campus lodging? Choose your hours. Giving Envelopes If you would like weekly giving envelopes, please sign up at the Welcome Center in the lobby and they will be mailed to your home every two months. You can also pick up some generic giving envelopes if you are not a weekly donor.

Seniors If you are at least 70 ½ years of age, did you know you can make a charitable deduction to FBCG directly from your IRA, have it count toward your required withdrawals from your IRA and save taxes even if you don’t itemize?
