wo years ago, Nod and Elizabeth Rose Norkus packed up their belongings and moved from their hometown of Charlotte, NC, to Boulder. These newlyweds were eager to embark on a new chapter in their lives and careers together. By combining their love for fashion and people they opened Nod and Rose Storehouse, a carefully curated clothing store for men and women in downtown Boulder. “Nod & Rose just makes sense to us,” said, Elizabeth Rose. “It gives us a chance to spend tons of time together and help people look their best.” Very quickly they connected with the community not only for their ability to fuse classic and fashion forward style but also for all the in-house social events they host. Somehow they have managed to create an incredibly warm and inviting environment in the 900 square feet of space they have. Nod even made room for his personal drum set right in the store. “If you’ve ever been in the storehouse it’s obvious we love having a good time, but we also take a lot of pride in shaping the way stylish people dress in this town,” says Elizabeth. The Norkus’ are continually evolving their collection to best fit the Boulder “town and country” lifestyle. “Fashion is really about taste,” says Nod. Some people find one thing they like and never vary, but one of the things that makes us work as a couple is we have very similar taste and it’s always evolving. Whether it’s in music, architecture, art or fashion more times than not, we’re always on the same page.” Nod and Elizabeth are extending their family and welcoming their first baby, London Rose, this winter. They couldn’t be more excited to continue this ever-
