Back to Basics for Spring

Spring is the perfect time for that wardrobe clean-out you promised you’d do months ago. It’s also a great time to get back to basics! As shown in the newly launched campaign from River Island, a great pair of jeans, fitted tank or T-shirt and a white shirt are all you need to pull off this minimal but chic vibe.

Fashion and beauty notes.... This less is more trend goes for your make up too. Go back to the classics with a Bobbi Brown BB cream, although a little pricey, it’s perfect as a special treat and your skin will thank you for it due to its light formula which still covers blemishes and moisturises too.

Hair Treat your hair whilst you’re at it with Bumble and Bumbles ‘Sunday’ shampoo, a weekly detox for your hair which leaves it naturally shining and full of body.

Gadgets Organise your wardrobe and your days this year, with American brand, Ban.do’s sticky reminder set. www.johnlewis.co.uk

Your Fashion Questions Answered????????

Do - Kendall Jenner

Don’t - Jessie J

Q - Hi Holly, this Christmas my family gave me money so that I could get myself whatever I want but I still can’t decide what I should buy that I’ll actually be able to wear or use a lot, any ideas? Clare 13 A - Hi Clare, I would recommend a pair of good black trainers, they go with nearly everything, are effortlessly chic and never go out of style. Otherwise, you could start to save up to buy yourself a designer bag or purse, from Michael Kors for example!
