Have you heard of social prescribing?

It’s a means of being referred to local, nonclinical services that offer a more holistic approach to health and wellbeing.

According to the NHS, social prescribing works for a wide range of people, including people with one or more long-term conditions; those who need support with their mental health; people who are lonely or isolated; and those who have complex social needs that affect their wellbeing. Schemes can involve a variety of activities – from sports and group learning, to volunteering and gardening.

How is Pilates beneficial?

In class I spend a large amount of time correcting students. Its really important to perform each movement well to get the full benefits.
