Back in November 2019, we ran a story about a local resident, Teresa Stirk, helping create a community garden at Richmal Crompton Fields on Bromley Common. BANK ON US! The Bank Locksbottom opened in February and held an opening evening for local dignitaries to sample the menu. The Mayor of Bromley officially opened the Turkish restaurant and local celebrity Rio Ferdinand also attended. We were lucky enough to receive an invite and had the pleasure of being seated next to councillor, Charles Joel, and chairman of the Crofton Residents Association, Robert Hadley, and their respective partners, along with the Mayor of Bromley, Nicholas Bennett.
