THE VENUE When it came to the venue, Melissa and Tim had a pretty specific vision in mind—wood floors and a light and airy space. Guided by their planner, the two could not have dreamt up a better backdrop. The Loft 310 in downtown Kalamazoo not only had the aesthetic they loved but the separate reception and ceremony spaces they desired—all in one location.

Besides the fun fact that Melissa, Tim and their guests played the MSU fight song three times throughout the night, their guests loved the wonderful food, the stunning venue and just how gorgeous all of the details were. “All Tim and I really wanted was for all of our guests to have an amazing time and throw one big dance party, and we definitely accomplished that!” says Melissa.
