WHO Which sources should you read and cite in your assignments? The main question to ask yourself is: is the author an expert? If you don’t know the author (perhaps the source is a website authored by a person/organisation you’ve never heard of) research them!

 AN expert? If you can’t find any information, you may want to find a different source your writing should be backed up by experts.

Books, ebooks and journal articles are generally considered to be good sources authors are often academics and journal articles go through a process of peer review. You can find books, ebooks and journal articles through Summon - see the library homepage. Avoid citing Wikipedia.
