This manual contains service and reference information for the IBM NetVistaTM Series computer types 6058, 6059, 6269, 6568, 6569, 6578, 6579, 6648, 6649. This manual is divided into product service sections (by machine chassis) and a related service section, as follows: v The product service sections include procedures for isolating problems to a FRU, a Symptom-to-FRU Index, additional service information and an illustrated parts catalog. v The related service section includes safety notices and safety information, and problem determination tips. Note: This manual is intended for trained servicers who are familiar with IBM Personal Computer products. Use this manual along with advanced diagnostic tests to troubleshoot problems effectively. Before servicing an IBM product, be sure to review the “Safety notices (multi-lingual translations)” on page 189 and “Safety information” on page 185.
