Disposable Festival Fashion
The start of the festival season is just around the corner with Isle Of Wight Festival kicking off proceedings on June 13th. However like most festival seasons, especially in the UK there is no guarantee the weather will hold out for the whole weekend. You might get lucky and it’ll be short shorts and suncream but the chances are it’ll be wet weather gear and wellies. Whatever the weather it’s good to know that there is cheap disposable fashion out there so you can look cool but not worry about keeping clean.
Ladies no matter how hard we try we know that we don’t cope with the cold as well as the boys. Whilst it is a good excuse to snuggle up under the stars, a cheap ladies jumper is far more reliable. For on trend fashion for a fiver, visit www.everything 5pounds.com
As a seasoned festival goer I know that there is nothing worse than welly rash in the day and cold feet at night. Pack socks and plenty of them. You’ll thank me by Saturday afternoon.
Keeping your campsite clean and tidy is obviously a priority but bin bags have multiple uses. If the ground is wet you can sit on them, you can use them to put your used clothes in to keep them away from the clean ones but most importantly you can use them as a waterproof cover up. Just cut a whole in the top for your head and two armholes and then fashion with a belt. It’ll keep you dry and you can throw it away as soon as the sun comes out.
Sunglasses hide a multitude of sins. First off they are great for protecting your eyes on a sunny day but they are also great for first thing in the morning when you’ve had a heavy night the night before. Take a couple of cheap pairs just incase.
The best thing about festival fashion is anything goes. Indulge your inner hippie or your wannabee hipster side and have fun! If you’re off to Bestival I might even see you there!
