Tianying Li is a Hong Kong based architect and designer. She holds a Master of Architecture II from the Cooper Union, New York. Before that she received her M.Arch and B.Arch from Tsinghua University, China. She is teaching undergraduate studios at the University of Hong Kong. Currently she is also working as a researcher at Rural Urban Framework. Her research and design focus on materiality and tectonics in the context of consumerism and mass production. Her work has been exhibited at the National Building Museum (US), Beijing Design Week, the Cooper Union, Tsinghua University, PMQ (Hong Kong) and other venues.
