I’ve been called lots of things, most fit to print. Today I’m going to let you know a little more about me, where I’ve come from, and why I do what I do.

Prior to real estate I was a marketing “gun for hire”, traveling the country to run grass roots marketing programs for clients like the NBA, NCAA, Microsoft and a few others. Running these programs taught me that grass roots marketing is the most powerful form of marketing that exists, as it creates a relationship with the consumer that can’t be duplicated by traditional advertising. It’s something I’ve carried over to real estate, and I believe it’s one of the reasons I’ve enjoyed great success in this industry. So, why real estate? Was it because I LOVE houses? Not really. Was it because I thought it would be a fulfilling career helping people achieve their dreams of home ownership? Nah. Quite simply, I love the art of the deal and doing things that others are intimidated by. After two years I’d already listed and sold three homes in the $1,000,000 price range and was starting to be recognized in the industry. Before I

knew it I was consistently being recognized as one of the top agents in the area by he San Antonio Business Journal. I’ve sold everything from historic homes in King William to Ranches in the Hill Country to Manors in Alamo Heights.

Personally, I’m blessed with an amazing wife who puts up with my shenanigans and two awesome children. When I’m done working, the only place I want to be is with my family. For fun, I lead a softball ministry with a group of guys I’ve grown to love, practice Krav Maga and shoot guns (mostly in a controlled environment).

I’m so blessed to achieve what I have in this industry, and I look forward to many more years of the same success. But as hard as I work, I know that my success is solely due to Jesus Christ. Without Him, I’d be nowhere. Because of our faith, my family and I truly believe in giving as much as we can to the community, in both time and money. I believe that we are put here to help those less fortunate than us and we consistently try to live our Faith, though I’m sure we fall short, as all of us do. My one goal in this life is to leave a mark on my family and the world by honoring Christ in all I do. If my greatest opportunity to do that is through the real estate industry, great. If He calls me elsewhere down the road, then that’s where you’ll find me. For now, I’m truly enjoying this ride I’m on. ~Kevin Crawford

“Don’t mention zip lines,” I teasingly warn a new client with a smile after chatting briefly on their Hill Country lot, “we’ll be here all day. I keep waiting for him to build the Swiss Family Robinson tree house one day. . .” Just then, Ray Stadler comes walking up to where we are standing on their lot, gazing over the Guadalupe with an excited sparkle in his eyes. “THAT is a spectacular view" he says animatedly, "we could do some pretty cool things with this lot for sure! Have you ever thought about a zip line…..” With his athletic frame and boyish zest for life, it’s hard to imagine Ray Stadler has been building luxury custom homes for so many years in San Antonio, Boerne and surrounding area. For nearly two decades, Stadler Custom Homes has had the honor to build hundreds of new residences for many different families.
