Come and See Jesus!
BIBLE BOOKS FOR

Indonesia has the biggest Muslim population in the entire world.
Like Andrew leading his brother Simon Peter to be a disciple of Jesus, your Sunday school or Lutheran day school students can lead Indonesian children to the Savior by adopting “Come and See Jesus!”with their mission offerings.
As reported in the last issue of “The Word at Work,” LHF has an amazing opportunity to share the Lutheran faith in Indonesia’s state schools.
Religion is part of the public school curriculum in Indonesia, and Christians are often allowed to teach their own faith. The challenge? Our Lutheran partners don’t have the textbooks they need– books like A Child’s Garden of Bible Stories, Luther’s Small Catechism and catechism workbooks in the Indonesian language.
For just $5 per child, your students’ mission offerings can provide one of these books for another child in Indonesia. Your classroom offering of $100 can provide a whole classroom of Indonesian kids with books about Jesus, written in a language they can read and understand!
BRING INDONESIA TO LIFE FOR YOUR STUDENTS!
To help this mission project come alive for your students, LHF offers a free Indonesia Resource Kit, which includes:
• A six-minute video about life in Indonesia, a simple explanation of Islam, and how your students’ offerings will spread the Good News about Jesus
• A related chapel/classroom devotion
• A variety of classroom activities (arts and crafts, songs, games) that bring Indonesia to life!
• A colorful bulletin board display
• Info on having LHF mission speakers visit your school or livestream with your students
To order your “Come and See Jesus” Indonesia resource kit, call LHF at (800)554-0723 or send an email to info@LHFmissions.org. Kits will be available after Aug. 1, 2020.
