PRAYER FOR OUR KIDS; AND MUSLIM WORLD EVANGELISM
Words
FROM RICK
T
his month tens of millions of kids and youths are back in school. During the summer many thousands had powerful experiences with Jesus in Assemblies of God summer camps. Please pray for them this month, that they will be courageous in sharing about Jesus at school.
LFTL is fully committed to resourcing our Youth Alive and campus missionaries with evangelism resources. Each year LFTL invests significant funds to reach America’s schools. LFTL assists students with bibles created for students, ministry resources to assist students with sharing their faith and with books and study disciplines for students to grow in their faith.
On page 2 is exciting news about the August 2 launch of the new Celebrate the Light, titled “FREEDOM and FIRE.” On page 3 is an incredible opportunity for us to evangelize in Muslim countries. Regarding CTL, if you would like to watch (or rewatch) the new videos you can go to our new website, lftl.ag.org and stream or download them. I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed filming and producing them. Thank you for your partnership and heart for missions. And thank you for praying for our children and grandchildren as they adjust to a new school year. Rick Allen National Director Men’s Ministries/LFTL
CELEBRATE THE LIGHT DELIVERS
I
t was incredible to see the looks on the faces of everyone who saw the new Celebrate the Light videos at the Light for the Lost luncheon at General Council in Orlando, FL, on August 2. You can watch both videos at lftl.ag.org in the Featured Resources section of the home page. The first video, titled “FREEDOM,” tells the story of a young woman (name withheld due to security concerns) who was trafficked and sexually exploited for 11 years.
In the second video, “FIRE,” we take you to the mountains of Armenia to hear a pastor named Artak explain the lengths he must go to just to study and preach the Word of God. It’s quite shocking. The churches of Armenia desperately need the Armenian FireBible—a study Bible in their heart language! The visuals from Armenia are beautiful. The story is moving. And the challenge is significant.
Light for the Lost and Project Rescue work together to reach, rescue and restore trafficking survivors like her. “FREEDOM” illustrates how we do that. You won’t forget the story or the images you see in this video.
RESOURCING YOUNG EVANGELISTS
L
ight for the Lost and Youth Alive have equipped hundreds of “campus missionaries” with evangelism resources in America’s middle and high schools. Last year a young lady named Madison attended a campus missionary training conducted by Youth Alive, and took what she learned into her school to share about Jesus. One of her friends accepted her invite to a youth service and later asked Jesus into his heart! His life was changed because Madison boldly shared her faith at school. We’re resourcing thousands of students like her. Georgia Youth Alive missionary Jessica
Riner used LFTL funds to give 1,000 students a FireBible at summer camp. “We wanted to make sure our Georgia students had a great study Bible,” Jessica says. “I am so thankful for LFTL funds.”

BIG OPPORTUNITY TO EVANGELIZE MUSLIMS
I
t’s time we shared part of a very big story with you.
there are thousands more Upper Rooms in EVERY major Muslim country on earth.
For several years we have kept quiet about an incredible move of the Holy Spirit in the Muslim world. It is so big now that the story is coming out.
We obviously can’t share many details, but Light for the Lost is providing the Upper Rooms with resources they need to evangelize, grow in the faith, and multiply in other areas.
We’re hearing about Muslim leaders, teachers, judges, and even militants coming to faith in Jesus after He appeared to them in a dream or vision. Underground churches are starting, and even multiplying. These underground churches call themselves “Upper Rooms” because of how they identify with the Acts 2 church.
Millions of Muslims are within our reach through Upper Room!
Muslim children hearing the gospel.
After confirming the stories and making contact with some of the leaders, we’ve learned the soul harvest in the Muslim world is into the hundreds of thousands. God is moving by His Spirit all over the Muslim world! More than 20,000 Upper Rooms are in one country alone. Also,
To continue doing this, we need help! If you are able to do so, please designate an offering to this month’s “Featured Project” on the enclosed response form. You can also give online. Make sure to designate to the “Upper Room project.” Thank you for your prayers and partnership! We’ve been praying for something like this to happen in the Muslim world for decades. Now it’s happening, and we get to be part of it!
