Light for the Lost provides evangelistic resources for missionaries and missionary partners through five platforms: print, audio, video, internet, and technologies.
INSIDE: GREAT MISSIONARY REPORTS, AND MEN SEEKING GOD ANEW
our faithfulness to the mission of Light for the Lost is making a tremendous difference in the world. We recently heard from several missionary families overseas. Each family shared their excitement at seeing Jesus do incredible things in the lives of many people through the evangelism resources provided by LFTL funds.
In this issue of 360 Spotlight, we’ve provided some photos and details from those missionary reports. I think you’re going to love these articles. My favorite picture shows a little boy in Paraguay the moment he closes his eyes and prays to ask Jesus into his life. What a photo! I love it. YOU helped make that moment possible. Thank you for helping LFTL put evange-
lism tools into the hands of missionaries everywhere. Also, we have exciting news to report for Men’s Ministries. In fact, so much is happening that we will be sharing at least one exciting new development from Men’s Ministries in each of the next several issues of 360 Spotlight. So be on the lookout! God is speaking to men across the nation about reviving their homes, families, and churches through biblical manhood and Christ-centered living (as found in Acts 2:42-47). It’s awesome to see how men are responding. Again, thank you for supporting LFTL and Men’s Ministries. We’re so honored and blessed to include you among our strongest ministry partners. A LIFE SAVED AND A BEAUTIFUL PHOTO SUMMARIZE PARAGUAY OUTREACH
or many years, Light for the Lost and Assemblies of God missionaries have enjoyed a close partnership with Castillo del Rey (King’s Castle) evangelists in Latin America. This partnership was powerfully demonstrated through outreaches that recently took place in Paraguay. Missionary Cynthia Lucas was a key organizer and she sent us this report. Light for the Lost funds provided 48,000 copies of El Libro de Vida (The Book of Life), hundreds of Spanish Bibles, and thousands of children’s evangelism tracts. Thirty-six evangelism teams distributed all these resources, going into schools, prisons, malls, and crowded major city intersections so they could share the gospel with others. An estimated 65,000 people were directly and personally reached by these 36 teams, equipped with evangelism tools provided by LFTL.
Our favorite photo! A Paraguayan boy asks Jesus into his heart at a kids’ outreach. “One man who received a Bible began to cry,” says Cynthia Lucas. “He said he was on his way home to take his life. Af-
More than 65,000 people received a copy of the gospel through the outreach. ter he wiped away the tears, he declared he would go home to read the Bible and meet with God.” Our favorite photo from Lucas’ report shows a Paraguayan boy the moment he asks Jesus into his heart at a kids’ outreach.
Thousands of kids were targeted by 36 Castillo del Rey evangelism teams. Thank you for making it possible for LFTL to always respond to our missionaries’ requests for evangelism tools, as they work with Castillo del Rey and other churches to reach the lost.
SATURATING MALI WITH THE GOSPEL…ELECTRONICALLY
hen we first got this photo we asked, “What are we looking at?”
Then, after reading the report from missionaries Neil and Kathy Vanaria (assigned to Italy), things began to make sense. And it was thrilling! The photo on this page shows a plastic tray that holds micro SD cards that can be inserted into computers, cameras, most phones, and other devices. On each of these particular SD cards are the New Testament, The Jesus Film, and numerous other ministry resources in Bambara, the language of the African nation of Mali. The Vanarias work closely with an Italian missionary who travels frequently into
Mali for ministry. LFTL funds made it possible to buy 1,000 of these SD cards and load all the evangelism tools onto them. As you read this article, those SD cards are being distributed among pastors and evangelists in the Mali Assemblies of God. They will be used to share Christ in Muslim-dominated surroundings. “It is a resource [the Mali churches] do not have available, and a wonderful way to support them in their outreach to a Muslim nation,” says Kathy Vanaria. Please take a moment today to pray that each SD card will be effective in sharing the true story of Jesus Christ to the Bambara people of Mali.
120 of the 1,000 SD cards—all loaded with evangelism tools—now being used in Mali.

The Tiddim Chin are historically a reclusive people group, but Pentecostal believers in their communities are known for crossing tribal lines to evangelize. The Tiddim Chin FireBible is part of this spiritual growth in Myanmar, and we wish to thank every LFTL supporter who partnered with us to produce it. Your giving and your prayers make a difference!
