es. It “ t was the best of tim es. It was the worst of tim was the age of wisdom. It was the age of foolishness. It was the epoch of belief. It was the epoch of incredulity. It was the season of Light. It was the season of Darkness.” Charles Dickens penned these opening words in 1859 as he wrote, The Tale of Two Cities.   “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And

God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. , And God called the light Day ed call he ss kne dar and the Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.” The first words God gave to man through the writing of Genesis as the starting point for his story concerning two kingdoms.   Man has always ventured into the positive versus negative mindset when examining our surroundings and future. In the days we live in, this seems to be normal. However, there is one more statement of truth that dispels us from

evil and turning our backs to those who haven’t heard or believed in the greatest story ever told. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved,” (John 3:16-17, KJV). And so it is for now and forever. Our mission is not over! We cannot pick who we will tell. WE MUST TELL ALL!

as cross-cultural missionaries. Taught by outstanding Islamic scholars and missionaries with extensive experience in ministry to Muslims in various parts of the world, Jonah Initiative offers a unique opportunity to deepen one’s understanding of, and love for, Muslim people. This training will assist the development of skills for effective evangelism and church planting among Muslims. Since 1987, Global Initiative’s team of missionaries had trained over 57,000 workers in 55 countries, which LFTL has made possible through their partnership.

accepted Christ and were baptized in the middle of the first day of our Jonah Initiative training. Today, Ali and his wife are still active in ministry to Muslims and their son is studying in a Christian school.

Last year, a team of three Global Initiative personnel traveled to Cuba for a 5-day training program in two cities. A total of 193 persons attended the training that was comprised of laypersons, church leaders, and missionaries preparing for overseas service in Muslim countries. The church in Cuba is a thriving indigenous church that is now sending workers to the lost around the world. Indonesia, the country with the largest number of Muslims in the world, is one of the countries where Global Initiative has conducted many Jonah Initiative trainings. Rudy (pseudonym) had attended several of the trainings, and he was moved by the Lord to travel from district to district in Indonesia and even to some of the neighboring countries to win the lost, especially Muslims. He started building relationships with his Muslim neighbors also and helped bring Ali (pseudonym), a graduate of a Qur’anic school, and his family to church. Later Ali and his wife

Rudy continues to reach out to Muslims wherever he goes. Thank you, LFTL, for helping us equip the church to reach Muslims because every Muslim must know the truth about Jesus!
