September 1 & 19 – Congressional Updates About U.S. – Israel Relations: A unique opportunity to hear from and interact with Congressmen Allen West (9/1) and Ted Deutch (9/19). Both Congressmen have recently returned from Israel and offer their perspectives on the special relationship between the U.S. and the Jewish homeland. Wednesdays, August 24 and November 30. • February 8: A special day of Mah Jongg. Enjoy Mah Jongg tournament and Chinese Buffet lunch. In conjunction with Nathan D. Rosen Museum Gallery exhibition, Mah Jongg: The History and Evolution Through the Centuries. Mah Jongg and Canasta Lessons: Learn to play Mah Jongg or Canasta in a small class environment. Lessons are two consecutive weeks, 2 classes each week. (Pre-registration required), $55 per four-session class. Mah Jongg and Canasta games: Ongoing for established games. 1. The Levis JCC reserves the right to make any class alterations or cancellations due to insufficient enrollment. In such cases, a full refund will be given. 2. Withdrawals are accepted up to one week prior to the class start date. A refund of 75% will be provided if sufficient enrollment of the class has been obtained at the time of withdrawal.
