We are excited to announce the innaugural Leverage Retreat, planned for April 2016. Through a series of compelling talks and effective breakout sessions, attendees will learn how to navigate their market with skill, get into the flow and harness the power that comes with change. Where better to set sail than at Terranea Resort, perched on the cliffs of Rancho Palos Verdes above the Pacific Ocean. Because a Leverage retreat includes relaxation on another level.

LOCATION, LOCATION

Terranea Resort & Spa Rising above the Palos Verdes Peninsula on the Southern California coast, just minutes from Los Angeles, sits Terranea, a haven for those seeking an exclusive retreat from the grind of city life.

Enterprises began a ten year development project on the peninsula which would eventually become Terranea, the luxury resort of choice in Southern California.

While Terranea celebrates its fifth anniversary this year, the history of the landscape is as rich and farreaching as the views from the paths traversing the resort. Originally a hacienda with a flourishing cattle ranching operation, the property was originally slated to be developed into an exclusive villa community. Instead, Marineland, the world’s largest oceanarium, featuring entertainment and research facilities was opened, one year before Disneyland, making it the state’s first major theme park.

Guided by five pillars, including community, wellness, discovery, epicurean, and celebration, Terranea offers singular experiential encounters. On-site activities find guests watching dolphins from a beach enclave simply known as the Cove, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, snorkling, on a guided bike ride, an oceanside hike, or a horseback trail ride.

After Marineland’s closing in 1987, a number of residential plans incorporating Mediterraneanstyle architecture took shape. Finally, in 1998 Lowe

As if that wasn’t enough, here are just a few of the more unique activities and amenities to explore at Terranea. (See facing page >)
