UNDECLARED The major discovery.
So, you’re heading to college, and someone just asked that question… Again. You know, that one.“What’s your major?” We’ll admit it. It’s a ridiculously popular question. But for many college freshmen, not knowing the answer is just as popular. You’re one of them? No worries. You’re not alone. In fact, it’s estimated that more than half of first-year students at American universities haven’t picked a major. Undecided? No problem. At LeTourneau, we welcome the unknown. That just reinforces the fact that there are no bounds on your potential or how God can use you! We’re here to help you discover His best for you (and that includes what you study). Maybe you’re interested in so many fields it’s tough to narrow it down. That’s ok.
• Take a look at your passions and abilities. Success often exists where they intersect. Head out on a journey of self-discovery. Recognize your gifts and use them for God’s glory.
• Mix it up. No need to pick just one. Double major, or throw in a minor you’re crazy about. Think outside the box, and create the right combination to fuel your accomplishments.
Take your time. We’ll help you find what fits you best. With more than 60 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, there’s a lot to choose from after you get here. Study a field that encompasses your natural gifts and interests. People person? Our education degrees may be your thing (teacher education, psychology and kinesiology). Or, check out our business degrees if you’re feeling the corporate calling or have that entrepreneurial spirit. Look into our engineering and engineering technology degrees if you’re into all things science and technology. Our aeronautical science program has been recognized as the best in the nation, so if you have a thing for altitude, take it for a test flight. • And for those of you with a flair for the classic English, history and arithmetic options (or bio lab), our arts & sciences options are top-notch. • Looking beyond a bachelor’s? You can also set out on one of our pre-professional tracks to help pave the way for law or med school. • • • •
Within each of these areas, there are numerous majors and minors that you customize to make work for you. Not to mention, plenty of helpful faculty and staff members that will help you figure it all out.
