1.1 Introduction

The centers of research and studies were linked to the development of the scientific revolution, which was one of the products of the modern industrial revolution, while the centers were integrated in the beginning of their inception in the centers of scientific institutions and universities

The importance of research centers The centers of research and studies have become a leading role in leading the world and have become centers for the production of many strategic projects active and has increased the number of centers in the world, especially in Europe and America and varied specialties in various fields of political and economic and other sciences

Activation of research centers 1- Freedom of research work The availability of an atmosphere for democratic work and the surrounding research centers will provide sufficient freedom of knowledge and access to the information required by the work of these centers

Availability of data The backbone of the research and study centers is the availability of an integrated database 3 - conviction of the role of research centers and studies These agencies serve as centers of feedback to all the scientific results reached by these centers, so this conviction is a key factor in the continuation of the work of scientific research centers 4. Background

1.1 Introduction

One of the most important reasons for the transformation of universities and their classification within international universities is the level of research and excellence in the Hittite centers in the production of research. The quality of the research environment as spaces and spaces increases the efficiency of learning within the university environment. In this sense, it is necessary to know what universities around the world have achieved in developing the research environment and taking the initiative in improving the research environment on the campus of King Abdulaziz University.

This site is one of the most important sites on the campus where is located near the most important entries: Gate 1 and Gate 3, and is located adjacent to the main streets are the almalaeib and street al'iidara

The site is part of the central area and the main façade of the campus

It is a link between other sites where access to it from several directions, and surrounded by several areas (medical center -academic square sports center )

There are a many of buildings located within the site, but most of the area is not built, it gives a great opportunity to invest the site better.

SIZE : 5.5 million sq. ft. / 511,000 sq. m. 27 buildings The team employed five strategies that borrow from local culture and traditions to solve environmental issues: 1. Structured like traditional Arabic cities 2. As found in a traditional souk, or Arabic market, 3. The Arabic Bedouin tent inspired designers to create a monumental roof system that spans across building masses to block sun on building facades 4. Passive ventilation strategies of the traditional Arabic house influenced the design of iconic, solar-powered wind towers 5. Similar to Arabic screening called 'mashrabiya,' the campus shades windows and skylights with an integral shading system that reduces heat loads while creating dramatic dappled light.

Architects: DLC Architects Location: Avenida Coyoacán Mexico Description sent by the project team. Located in one of the oldest districts of Mexico City; Coyoacán 1622, stands out among many other corporate complexes, office complexes in different areas of Mexico City where the highest building and formally prominent of its neighbors turns out to be the most attractive, one where the context and the original state of the building considerably more the horizontal character of the building adapted to the scale of more human character of constructions and surrounding streets.

Architects: Ennead Architects Location: Wuhan, Hubei, China Ennead Architects has unveiled its design for the new Huawei Research Center, a research and development campus under construction in Wuhan, China.
