For example, he used to reproduce a subject on fifty serigraphs, and on each of them he would then hand-paint some details, or he would add something particular. So that each one of the fifty serigraphs would be different from the others. So that it would become an original. He did not do that on every one. Some are reproductions of the original, without any intervention. Some others were selected and on them he would then work, sometimes massively. We do not know yet his criteria of choice. Steve Kaufman had learned serigraphy perfectly from Andy Warhol, but he had made it more perfect through the use of various passages on various levels.
