Arithmetic in rings has become a classical branch of algebra, essential in understanding and teaching mathematics of
gymnasium and high school, and fundamental in the knowledge bag of any mathematician. Many of the notions and
the methods presented are the basis of some code theory and cryptography applications. Graduates will only have
to acquire the notions and methods of this course as future mathematics teachers, mathematicians or
IT professionals.
