LENNOX CATO ‘Dealing In Excellence’

‘Dealing in Excellence’ Friday 13th June – Saturday 21st June 2014

Over the years I have been asked many times why I have never produced a catalogue showing examples of the beautiful pieces I have handled.

I have always tried to deal in interesting articles, fine English and European furniture and works of art and more recently, as the market dictates, in Asian pieces. This catalogue is to accompany the titled exhibition and so all items shown are amongst our current stock and all for sale. However, on the inside back cover you will see a montage of items I feel very proud to have had the good fortune to own and pass on to either private or public collections around the world. You will see over the next 24 pages current articles of stock I have selected and set aside over recent months especially for this exhibition. My first solo exhibition for several years of which I am very excited to have put together.

Many of the items have not appeared on the open market for a very long time but have been lovingly cared for by private individuals and enthusiasts, some of whom are deciding to downsize and rearrange their collections. This creates the perfect time for new and existing clients to acquire the ‘bug’ and start building their own collection to live alongside and enjoy. My mantra is always quality, quality, quality. It has to be a quality product. ‘When price is forgotten, quality is always remembered’.

I look forward to greeting you at our showrooms for the exhibition, but if you are unable to attend please find this catalogue online on our website. With kindest regards,

Lennox Cato
