This break takes in some of the region’s most enduringly popular spots and is a real treat. Also known as ‘Doctor Brighton’ and ‘London by the Sea’, the unique blend of outrageous architecture and quaint streets has made Brighton England’s most fashionable resort for over 200 years. Brighton is a town known for its carefree way of life, beautiful pier and a vibrant entertainment and nightlife scene - perfect for a New Year’s Eve party! Savour the sea air whilst walking on the beach (but do wrap up warm!), dance the night away or discover the many boutiques and restaurants that adorn the city streets. Whatever your taste, Brighton will have something for you!

York has an incredible wealth of things to see and do, with the ancient walled centre offering more attractions per square mile than any other destination in the UK. As one of Europe’s largest pedestrian zones, you’re never more than a short walk from one of York’s awe inspiring sights or attractions. Why not shop on the Shambles - believed to be the oldest shopping street in Europe; or even try out the city’s Historic Toilet Tour! And did you know that the International Ghost Research Foundation says that York is officially the most haunted city in Europe

We have 3 nights, dinner, bed & breakfast, Bucks Fizz reception, a Gala Dinner with entertainment and dancing, and a glass of Champagne to help us see in 2020. Yorkshire is a big and beautiful county and the history in many of the cities is exceptional with visitors travelling from all over the world just get a flavour of what these magnificent places to offer. We stay just a few minutes walk from the picturesque market town of Wetherby. A weekly market has been held since the town was granted a Charter in 1240 and there are several interesting inns dating from the time when it was a staging post on the Great North Road... so ideal if you fancy a pint in an old-fashioned inn!

Weymouth has long been one of the most popular seaside resorts in Britain – holidaymakers have been flocking to this corner of Dorset since King George III was a regular visitor more than 200 years ago. It isn’t hard to see why – the sheltered, shallow waters of its golden sandy beach are ideal for bathing (probably not a good idea in December though!!). The fine Georgian esplanade makes an impressive backdrop and the seafront houses a wide variety of hotels, restaurants, pubs, cafés, and small specialist shops.

Mercure Wetherby Ent. On this New Year’s break, you will see some of the wonderful scenery of this special part of England including the beautiful city of Harrogate and a trip to explore ‘White Rose Country’. And we’ll have a package of meals and entertainment at the hotel including a New Year’s Eve dinner with party night and a glass of bubbly!

Hotel Mon Ami Ent. We are staying at the newly refurbished Hotel Mon Ami, situated on the seafront and in the heart of the resort. We’ll have breakfasts and dinners and a lovely New Year’s Eve Party Night with a glass of bubbly. We get out and about to lovely Dorchester on an excursion during the day on New Year’s Eve.
