Real estate continues to improve in the Charlotte metro area. The pervasive low levels of inventory are causing frustration for buyers who experience multiple offers over and over, Sellers, however, are benefiting from rising prices and shorter days on the market. With the continued low unemployment levels in Charlotte, and the continued relocation trends, this is not expected to change in 2018. Adding to the challenges for owneroccupant buyers is the continued strength of the investor market. Rents are continuing to increase and real estate is providing a solid cash-on-cash return.
