DANCE’S START UP VI Work on Platform 2015/2016

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR BRIGEL GJOKA “Art , which is considered the best language of understanding and connecting humans beings, goes beyond cultural differences . It offers new challenges and opportunities to the society and its evolution. During the last years, I have confronted myself with various artists and art forms that have nourished my knowledge and, at the same time, contradicted it. They have led me to the construction and development of my own image of contemporary dance and art.” The artistic director of the VI edition of our Project DANCE’S START UP will be, as before, Brigel Gjoka, who bring us his experience, so as to create a “platform” , a place where dance will gather different work styles, and achieve meetings and interactions with international artists. A special attention will be given to the creativity that is the main treasure for a composition. Thus, we will enrich the relationship between our artistic platform and the professional path.

WORK ON PLATFORM   During the 2015/2016 season we will offer several opportunities to the dancers: - Classical ballet and contemporary dance training - Choreographic and creative composition workshops - Seminars with national and international artists and dancers - Collaborations with experimental productions and projects proposed by the artistis and choreographers of the platform - Potential exchange experiences with other Italian and/or foreigner dance companies - Across-the-board seminars of Professional Empowerment - Dance and Technology workshop
