REUNION • CCHS Class of 1982 is having its 35th Class Reunion on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 6 to 11 p.m. with a full meal and music provided at Reva Fire Hall. The cost is $40 per person. Parks and Recreation department is still taking registrations for the Baltimore Inner Harbor trip that includes tickets to the National Aquarium. The bus will board at 6:50 a.m., Saturday June 10 at the Culpeper Sports Complex, 16358 Competition Drive (football field lot). Group admission into the Aquarium will be 9:45 a.m. Once done in the Aquarium, the rest of the day is at your leisure to visit the many sites the harbor has to offer. Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor an indoor summer youth basketball clinic for ages 6-8 (5-6 p.m.), age 9-11 (6:15-7:15 p.m.), ages 12-14 (7:30-8:30 p.m.). The Arts & Culture Center in Culpeper is delighted to invite all regional artists working in any media to submit their work for the ACC’s early summer exhibition, “Celebrate the Red, White and Blue!” Let the colors or the season’s holidays — Memorial Day, Flag Day, Fourth of July — be your inspiration.The exhibition will open with a free public reception on June 8. The exhibit will be open on Saturdays (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Sundays (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) through July 9 in the new ACC Gallery at 509 South Main Street. The deadline for all submissions is May 30. The application fee is $30 for up to three works of art. There is a size limitation: Each piece must be no larger than 500 square inches — including frames.
