CRUISE IN • Cruisin For Heroes will be hosting a family friendly monthly Cruise-In from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. (and every 4th Sat. through Oct.) at Bruster’s located at 16170 Rogers Road to raise awareness and funds for the Fisher House Foundation. Fisher House provides a “home away from home” for families of patients receiving medical care at military and VA medical centers. There will be a DJ and a “Manager’s Choice Award” presented. Come out and support community and our military. HISTORY • Friends of Cedar

Mountain Battlefield will unveil two guns that have been professionally restored to resemble their wartime appearance. The artillery, donated by the Civil War Trust, came to Cedar Mountain from General Robert E. Lee's headquarters at Gettysburg. The event will include a wine and cheese reception, and representatives from Manassas National Battlefield Park will fire salute. Starts at 2 p.m. at 9465 General Winder Road, Rapidan.
