Founded in 1986 and privately held, LEC is located in downtown Chicago. Our full-time staff is comprised of multidisciplinary communications professionals including: strategists, creative directors, writers, graphic designers, information architects and developers. Overview

LEC led the re-branding initiative that transformed the IT Resource Center into Lumity. The goal was to re-position this Chicago-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization from a sterile, technology-based capacity builder to an organization that makes a difference in peoples’ lives and the communities in which they live.

Overview

The branding team at LEC created the name and identity for this educational program from Prevent Child Abuse America (PCAA). The program delivers child development information to parents through a trusted resource (their pediatricians). The goal is to help parents better understand what behaviors to expect from their child at various stages of their development.

Overview

How do you change the habits of commuters who have a choice of transportation options? By appealing to their left brain. LEC developed a comprehensive strategy that started with defining the CTA’s sweet spot target, and by creating a brand that car-owning, cab-taking urban dwellers could call their own.
