ACCESSIBILITY GUIDELINES The Lebanon Recreation & Parks Department is committed to providing facilities and programs which meet the needs of residents with disabilities. All facilities and programs are reviewed to insure access to persons with disabilities in accordance with the Americans With Disabilities Act. Support will be available for persons needing individual assistance to participate in recreation programs. Interpreters will be provided to sign for the hearing impaired. REGISTRATION POLICIES 1. Please check program descriptions for specific registration information, including registration deadlines. 2. Registrations received after the registration deadline will be put on a wait list. As capacity allows, wait listed registrations will be added to the roster. $5 late-registration fee applies. 3. Scholarships may be available based on financial need. Any parents/guardians that would like to discuss scholarship opportunities should contact the Recreation & Parks Department. 4. *Multiple child discounts are available for programs that don’t require special admission fees, and are run exclusively by Lebanon Recreation staff. Eligible programs are noted with a *. First child pays in full; each additional child in the same program from the same household receives a 10% discount, up to $10 per additional child. 5. Non-resident fees are listed with program descriptions. 6. Participants will be officially registered upon payment of fee and receipt of registration form. 7. No news is good news. We will contact you if there is a problem with your registration, or if a class is cancelled. 8. Full refunds (less processing fee) are allowed up to the registration deadline. Requests for refunds afterwards must be submitted in writing and will be considered individually. All refunds are subject to a $5 refund processing fee. 9. or children ages 2-5. Join us for a mixture of movement exploration, finger play, music activities, parachute games and more! A great opportunity for group interaction and socialization. DAY HIKE, FRANCONIA NOTCH (#17302A) Experienced hikers ages 12-18, join us for this rigorous adventure! Participants must provide their own equipment, packed lunch & two 32.oz waterbottles. The plan is to take Old Bridle Path Trail up past the Greenleaf Hut. Take the ridge, summiting Lincoln, Lafayette, and Little Haystack. We would come down the Falling Waters Trail. Please register your child based on what he/she can do NOW, not what they want to be able to do. Transportation/equipment will be provided by participants. Helmets are REQUIRED for participants. Lessons begin promptly. Skiers are not permitted to go up the hill in search of their class. Parents are welcome to stay in the lodge during lessons. No open skiing for parents or siblings during ski lessons. Lessons cancelled for rain only, not snow or winter weather; please dress appropriately. If questionable weather, please call Storrs Hill, (603)448-4409, after 4:30 p.m. If a skier arrives without proper equipment or clothing, he/ she will not be able to participate in lessons. Please be reminded that sledding on the ski jumps or on the hill is prohibited at all times for safety reasons.

ook Discussions at Lebanon Public Library: Thursdays, 7-8:30 p.m. All discussion groups will take place on the 2nd Thursday of each month in the All Purpose Room of the Lebanon Public Library, 9 East Park Street. All books from this series can be obtained at the Lebanon Public Library. First Thursday Book Buffet at Kilton Library will resume in the fall. A lunchtime adult book discussion group. Bring a brown bag lunch and a book that fits the month’s theme for a banquet of books and opinions. Traditional Matryoshka Nested Doll Making: from Russia to New England. Tuesday, December 3 at 6:00 in the Lebanon Library. In a slide show presentation, Marina Forbes will examine the history of Matryoshka nested doll making in Russia, the rich folk tradition and symbolism of the doll’s appearance, and the interesting link between doll making and other traditional Russian art forms. The program is free and open to the public. Coming in February, a five-part bi-weekly Civil War reading and discussion group with Suzanne Brown!
