Oracle and SQL Server have similar, but not identical, implementations of ANSI/ISO Structured Query Language (SQL).

By default, SQL Server has implicit transactions. In Oracle, nothing is committed until someone explicitly commits them.

These have different meanings in Oracle and SQL Server.
