Research for International Tobacco Control, International Development Research Centre: Designing and facilitating 5-day consultation with 35 international researchers on alternative livelihoods for tobacco producers.

Ottawa Mission: Capacity building and coaching for a program monitoring and evaluation exercise.

Canadian Programs. World Vision Canada. Research on indicators and Child Well-Being New Canadian children and youth, and on literacy, poverty and learning disabilities. Curriculum review of community-based capacity building programs.

CODE: Reviewed 2011 CIDA proposal for international literacy promotion program.

Citizens for Public Justice: Facilitated a customized 4-day course on the Dialogue Education approach to learning design and facilitation.

Canadian Foodgrains Bank: Wrote case studies of five international humanitarian relief projects for annual CIDA report.

Save the Children Canada: Research and production of three PowerPoint presentations on contextualizing RBM for community development practitioners and project participants and a survey of complementary and alternative M&E methods to RBM. Currently updating to include new CIDA RBM terminology.

Canadian Teachers’ Federation: Capacity building and technical assistance for Results-Based Management (RBM) components for CIDA proposal for international education program.

Centre for Intercultural Learning: Facilitated workshop on RBM for CIDA Voluntary Sector and British Columbia Council for International Cooperation.

International Development Enterprises: Provided coaching on the design of IDE’s international iQ (Monitoring and Evaluation) Team planning meeting in Delhi, India.

Wellspring: Learning design coaching for a new course on writing an Executive Summary to be held at the Center for Excellence in Communication.

Parks Canada: Conducted a learning design review of new staff training materials for the Public Outreach Education program.

The Natural Step Canada: Facilitated two workshops on adult learning design skills and conducted learning design and facilitation review of 2-Day Sustainability for Leaders Level 1 course.

imagineaction: Facilitated a workshop with Canadian Teachers’ Federation staff to document the Theory of Change for a national student mobilization program.

Coordinated a coalition of 22 organizations working to enhance Canada’s contribution to meeting UNESCO’s Education for All (EFA) goals through research, policy dialogue and public mobilization campaigns.  Mobilized 15,000 Canadian students and teachers for international campaign on EFA and literacy  Organized a conference on education rights for policy makers, academics and practitioners  Redesigned CGCE website and utilized online social networking tools for outreach.

Supported a team of seven decentralized partners and a network of associates who provided trainthe-trainer courses and adult learning consulting services around the world by:  Developing policies and procedures for course pricing, professional certification, marketing and intellectual copyright 

Customizing an online Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce) platform to manage leads, opportunities and contracts and generate projections.

Managing client relations from inquiry to contract finalization.

Creating online content, including articles, website copy and podcasts.

Co-designing new Learning Evaluation by Design and SURE-Fire Meetings workshops.

Tanzanian Country Program •

Worked in partnership with three Tanzanian organizations to support their community development, relief, human rights and gender justice programs;

Engaged in capacity building with our partners by designing and facilitating workshops on RBM, environmental stewardship and human rights;

Supported partners’ strategic planning with partners and helped them develop project and program proposals with results and indicators;

Wrote quarterly narrative reports for the country program using an online database;

Supported our partners in developing Organizational Capacity Indicators (OCI) to track their organizational development versus their own self-determined goals;

Successfully helped partners develop proposals to external donors for partner's income generation and relief projects;

Participated in organizational and program evaluations with partners in Tanzania and Zambia.

East & Southern Africa / Global Programs •

Served as CRWRC Tanzania representative on the Capacity Building Innovation Network (CABIN), a network of NGOs from Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda;

Worked with Evaluation Sub-Team to review the organization’s planning, monitoring and evaluation practices around the world;

Chaired Environment Task Force to guide the development of a environmental impact assessment toolkit;

Created and presented development education events for constituency in North America.
