DRIVING ON POWDER MOUNTAIN When driving down the mountain, shift into low gear (1st or 2nd) and maintain a 10 - 20mph speed (don't ride the brakes!). It's always good to carpool - bring someone with you or caravan down with friends.

If you feel uncomfortable driving down the mountain at any point - leave your car! We can shuttle you up or have a team member bring the car down. Angela Galardi Ceresnie is the CEO of Climb Credit, a student finance company that evaluates the return on investment of education programs. She joined Climb as the Chief Operating Officer in 2016, and quickly helped shape the operations, culture, and future of the Climb, earning her the role of CEO in 2018. Prior to Climb, Angela co-founded and was COO/CFO of Orchard Platform— an analytical toolset offered to institutional investors to purchase loans from marketplace lenders. Before her time at Orchard, she spent 8 years running various credit risk analytics teams at American Express and Citibank where she made billions of dollars' worth of data-driven credit decisions. Shanaz Chowdhery joined Vemo Education in July 2018 after nearly five years with General Assembly. At Vemo, Shanaz works with alternative schools, helping them design, deploy, and maintain ISA programs. Beyond advising on prudent use of ISAs, Shanaz helps Vemo’s clients in the alternative education space succeed. With personal and professional experience with ISAs, Shanaz had one herself and launched a pilot program using ISAs while at General Assembly. Her previous experiences in the accelerated learning space include coaching sales teams, recruiting talented instructors, hunting for operational efficiencies, and scaling a campus to a multimillion dollar operation. JOANNE BERGER-SWEENEY President, Trinity College

Joanne Berger-Sweeney became the 22nd president of Trinity College in July 2014. Since that time, she has overseen several major accomplishments, including the completion of the college’s strategic plan, Summit, which will guide Trinity toward its bicentennial in 2023 and beyond. Under her leadership, the college expanded its footprint to Constitution Plaza in downtown Hartford and entered into a partnership with global technology firm Infosys to create educational programs to prepare liberal arts students and Infosys employees for the digital workplace of the future. Berger-Sweeney also co-chaired Connecticut’s statewide Higher Education Innovation & Entrepreneurship Working Group. Before coming to Trinity, BergerSweeney served as dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Tufts University, and prior to Tufts, she was a faculty member and associate dean at Wellesley College. Berger-Sweeney received her undergraduate degree in psychobiology from Wellesley, her M.P.H. in environmental health sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Ph.D. in neurotoxicology from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Marshall Roslyn is an Executive Director on the Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking Team at Goldman Sachs. Natasha Tomchin is an artist, designer, and coder. Born in Belarus and raised in Nebraska, she's called Miami home for the last eight years. Inspired by the clouds and lush flora, her work draws directly from her surroundings, translating across painted furniture, canvas pieces, video art, prints and projection installations.

Always exploring new creative forms of expression, she uses unconventional methods to cross visual boundaries. Haru Kishi studied under some of the world's greatest chefs, such as Joël Robuchon, chef propriétaire of Le Château, as well as television star chef Gordon Ramsay at the Conrad Tokyo hotel and au Trianon, a Waldorf Astoria hotel in Versailles, France. Haru traveled to West Hollywood in 2008 with Ramsay to work at the London Hotel, climbing his way up to executive sous-chef. When joining the Chaya family in Beverly Hills in 2010 as executive chef, he brought with him a seasonal EuroAsia palette as a result of his worldly travels and experiences over the past 15 years. Today, Haru drives the culinary experience at Summit, finding inspiration from nature and informing the farm-to-table culture found at Summit Powder Mountain.

Prior to being the chef of Highly Likely Cafe in Los Angeles, Kat Turner worked as a private chef for numerous A-list clients all over the globe, in addition to co-running large and small scale culinary events for the conscientious communities of Summit Powder Mountain and Summit Series. A collector of tradition and trend she gathers up bits of flavor wherever she goes. Originally from a small town in Wisconsin, Kat is passionate about creating dishes that are both familiar and comforting, while leaving you with the sense that you've experienced something exotic. Her training at the Natural Gourmet Institute NYC led Kat to Blue Hill Restaurant, as well as the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Therefore, it should be no surprise that she places a great emphasis on product sourcing, health, and wellness in her life and in the lives of her clients and guests. As a certified holistic health coach, she is able to work one on one with others, inspiring them to achieve their wellness goals and create the best possible versions of themselves. Back again on Summit Powder Mountain, Kat is thrilled at the opportunity to share that passion again with you.


LAURA WILLIAMSON, MS Master Sommelier

Laura Williamson is one of 26 female Master Sommeliers in the world. Originally born in a dry county in Arkansas, Laura passed the Master Sommelier exam, “the world’s toughest wine exam” as noted by Forbes Magazine, when barely a dozen women in the world had done so previously. She later became Beverage Director and Chef Sommelier for a Michelin Three-Star, New York Times Four-Star Restaurant in NYC and remains one of the few women globally to have held a position of this stature within the restaurant industry.
