Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis when full payment is made. Reservations are NOT accepted over the phone. Reservations can be made in person at Pelican Community Park Community Center, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 2:00 pm and 6:00 to 9:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:30 am to 9:00 pm; or at SIB Government Center Visitors Center, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Registration for these events begins Monday, February 25. The Cultural Event Trips Registration and Waiver forms are available at the Community Center.

GUEST POLICIES A member can bring a guest to the Community Center to use the gymnasium only (not the computer lab or fitness center) according to the following rules: r The guest must check in with the front office, present photo ID and sign a waiver. r A member can bring only one guest per visit. r The guest will be charged a $5 fee per visit.

RESIDENCY QUALIFICATION In order to receive the resident rate, proof of residency is required at the time of registration. r Adults are required to show proof of residency. r Children must have the same residency of the parent or legal guardian. r A photo ID must be presented for identification purposes, in addition to one of the following documents: n Current vehicle registration. n Current utility bill displaying both name and address of Sunny Isles Beach property (phone, cable, FPL, water). n Current lease agreement identifying tenants residing in a SIB residence, plus a condo office letter. r Children ages 13 and under must be enrolled in a supervised program unless under the supervision of an adult.

PROGRAM REGISTRATION Registration for all programs, classes and activities offered by Cultural & Community Services is held in the Community Center, Pelican Community Park, 18115 North Bay Road. For programs held at Pelican Community Park, except for after school programs or summer camp, registration dates are based on membership. For programs held at a facility or park other than Pelican Community Park, also to include after school program and summer camp, registration dates are based on residency. Registration begins Monday, February 25. The deadline to register for a course is two days prior to the course start date; however, it’s best to register early.
