a long time working relationship with Leachman Cattle, dating back to the Montana sales, through working as the Herdsman for LCoC and is now serving as a Buyer and Service Representative. Garrett also earned a Degree in Beef Cattle Mgt. at FHSU where he served internships with LCoC and the R.A. Brown Ranch. Although his main focus has been on bull sales and customer service, his knowledge of the program makes him a valuable representative for the Elite Semen Cooperative as well. Along with his responsibilities with LCoC, Garrett serves a major role in his family’s cattle operation in northwest Kansas. Ryan Peterson, Wellington, CO, wears
many hats--very well --for the Leachman organization as he is the Sales and Customer Service Manager for LCoC, spends a lot of time working with the young bulls on test, manages the herd sires and is also your Semen Representative for Colorado. Ryan’s background includes growing up on a family run commercial cow-calf & feedlot operation in southwest Michigan. He was heavily involved in FFA serving both as a State and National Officer. Ryan earned a degree in Agribusiness from Michigan State University and a Master’s Degree in Animal Science from Colorado State University. Ryan has been with LCoC since 2010 and needless to say, he really knows these bulls. Contact Ryan-
Sam Rempe, Superior, NE, serves as the
LCoC Semen Cooperative Manager. He has helped build the Division from the ground up and today coordinates all of the day to day activities. Sam is also actively involved with his family Cooperator Seedstock operation where he manages the breeding program which includes extensive AI and some ET work. His background includes graduating from FHSU with a degree in Beef Cattle Management and an internship with LCoC. Sam has a strong working knowledge of breeds, bulls, bloodlines and an in depth understanding of the Leachman breeding program. He also provides experienced custom AI and synchronization services. Sam is always working on the most up to date information on new herd bulls and the latest progeny test data.
