LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in the Trafford Centre is inviting the city’s mini Manchester United fans to come along for a day of themed activity celebrating the success of arguably the most successful football team in the world. The first 100 guests arriving in full United home or away kit on the day will get in absolutely free. What’s more fans will be able to get in the spirit for the match by making their own mini trophies in the master model builders workshops, have their picture taken with the LEGO ® Champions League trophy and take penalty shoot outs at our LEGO goal. Kids can also relive the regional rivalry between United and FA Cup winners Manchester City as they battle it out on MINILAND’S tilting football game set in the models of the iconic Old Trafford and Eastlands stadiums. General Manager and Manchester United fan, Neil Crittenden commented: “As a life long Manchester United fan I am massively excited about the Champions League final and am thrilled to be able to invite the city’s mini fans to come along and join in the celebratory atmosphere with us before the match.
