April McClung Happy February! We are hustling over here to make our Night to Remember-A Centennial Celebration a success! We are less than a month away and we could really use your help. In this Soundings, you'll see a way to purchase tickets and a link to volunteer. Bring your spouse, bring a friend, or bring a lot of friends and buy a ladies table. Either way this event will be fun! If you would like to volunteer, we still need you to purchase a ticket (this is a fundraising event), then sign up for a time to volunteer that works best for you.

Our 1st Vice President – Pam McFarland Wow, it’s almost March already…where did the time go.? I am SO excited for our upcoming big event in March. I would like to invite you all to attend A Night to Remember: A 100 Year Celebration of Camp Lewis fundraiser that will be happening on March 17th. It will be a really fun evening, so much time and effort has gone into making it fun for all. I’d like to give a huge special shout out to all the ladies that are working to put this big night together. Tracy Harvey is our chairperson for this event, and I can’t thank her enough. She has tackled this with enthusiasm that is absolutely contagious. Also a special shout out to Peggy Cleveland and Tracey Jones for all that they have done in helping bring this night together. I can’t wait to share with you guys the commemorative 100 year magazine that Peggy put together for this event. It has so many wonderful articles and trivia about Camp Lewis. It will be a special keepsake for the night, for sure. Everyone that attends A Night to Remember will receive one of these. Tracey has headed up the gathering of donations for the big night. And let me tell you I am SO excited to share the many amazing items we have received for the silent and live auctions. From amazing trips, to beautiful artwork, to baskets filled with goodies, and even a few gorgeous one-of-a-kind wood furniture pieces. I also can’t wait to see the lovely decor for the night that Kimberlee Cavin is working on. Thanks Kimberlee for all you are doing to make the night look magical. Also a special shout out to Holly Hyatt and Karen Tussing for gathering many amazing desserts for our Dessert Dash. Special thanks also goes to Stephanie Sattinger for running our games for the evening, Greg Miller for being our wonderful Graphic Designer, and Laura Williams for managing our Silent Auction room. I also would like to take a moment to thank our entire LCSC board for all they have done to support this night as well. We really couldn’t do this without you guys. So my hope for the night is to see as many of you there as possible. I promise this night is one you won’t want to miss!
