Sepember 9th - 15th, 2013: If you drop/withdraw from 12-week course(s) during this time period, there is no tuition charge. September 16th - 22nd, 2013: If you drop/withdraw from 12-week course(s) during this time period, you are responsible for 10% tuition. September 23rd - November 4th, 2013: If you drop/withdraw from 12-week course(s) during this time period, you are responsible for 55% tuition. November 5th, 2013: From this date until the end of classes in this term, if you drop a 12-week fall term course (or withdraw), you will receive academic penalty (failure) and are responsible for 100% tuition.

Eduroam Internet Access

Nighthawks & A-Team Present: The Bus to Passion Pit

Eduroam is a secure access service for members of the educational and research communities. It allows individuals from a member organization to securely access network services while visiting other member organizations using login credentials from their home organization without making special arrangements.

Using Eduroam, Laurier students can obtain Internet connectivity when visiting participating institutions by simply logging onto their computer or wireless device with their Laurier usernames and passwords. Visitors to Laurier’s campuses can also access the Internet using their home credentials if their institution is a member of the Eduroam network. All donations made to Brant United Way are invested locally into our community in three focus areas: “All that Kids Can Be” provides opportunities to children and youth; “Healthy People Strong Communities” offers tools to area families to support independent living; and “From Poverty to Possibility” where people are given life’s necessities. You probably remember that residence rooms are a big selling point on campus tours and one of the big reasons families visit. Campus tours run throughout the week at 11am, 1pm and 3pm plus we have Saturday tours at 11am and 1pm about twice a month. Congratulations to all the staff, students and volunteers that put on an extremely successful Orientation week. The weather cooperated (mostly) and the icebreakers and first year students participated in tons of events, and engaged in a friendly competition between colour teams. Special shout out goes to the Blue Barbarians for winning the cheer off and to the Green Aviators for winning the O-week cup for 2013!
