Body Pressure cast aluminium body with a diameter of 500mm and 340mm with rear fins to dispel heat to which a pressure cast aluminium frame and cap are applied; optic unit consists of a system of supports onto which the LEDs are mounted, closed by a moulded PMMA screen 3mm thick and attached to the head by means of a pressure cast frame and stainless steel screws. Available in cablesuspended version. TECHNOLOGY STILIS

Design and efficiency The geometric structure of the screen conforms to the direction of the LEDs so that it is always perpendicular to the incident light, thereby minimising loss of light due to refraction. The PMMA screen surface that diffuses the LED light beams has an ice-like appearance to ensure uniform illumination of the road surface (without luminous points) and conformity to the CEI EN 62471 standard regarding photobiological safety. The Class IP66 sealing of the above-mentioned components is guaranteed by silicone gaskets inserted into the profiles.

Each of the 36 supports can house 1, 2 or 3 LEDs, therefore the product comes in either the 36, 72, or 108-LED version. The LEDs are arranged around the fixture external perimeter so as to use up the entire available surface and reduce the temperature on the LEDs to a minimum. The diffuser screen consists of a 3mm thick PMMA structure that can withstand Class IK08 mechanical shocks.

Each of the 22 supports can house 1 or 2 LEDs, therefore the product comes in either the 22 or 44-LED version. The LEDs are arranged around the fixture external perimeter so as to use up the entire available surface and reduce the temperature on the LEDs to a minimum. The diffuser screen consists of a 3 mm thick PMMA structure that can withstand Class IK08 mechanical shocks.

Programming the curves (Stilis 500 only) The fixture's electronic control system (driver) can be configured to adapt the current to the LEDs, which may be operate from 350 mA to 700 mA, depending on the model. Power is supplied to the LEDs through 3/6/9 independent channels (depending on the model) grouped according to the type of area to be illuminated. As a result, each LED group can be powered with different current levels so as to customise the light

distribution according to the distance between fixtures and the desired luminance levels. The 3/6/9 independent channels have a LED circuit configuration based on SERIES wiring, in order to avoid current imbalances in the various branches. The fixture's internal electronic system is able to automatically calculate when midnight falls, so that it can selfadjust in any time-zone condition.

STILIS TECHNOLOGY

The programming (Stilis 500 only) This function allows to use the fixture in the “ENERGY SAVING� mode. According to the chosen profile (which is internally memorised), the fixture is able to reduce automatically the light flow for the road specific requirements. It is also available as an option the possibility to arrange the Stilis fixture with a PLC device (Power Line Communication) which allows the control directly from the electrical cabinet. The product complies with the relevant light pollution regulations as it has 0 emission beyond 90 degrees.

The architecture of the electronic structure of the Driver and the product's control section can be simply upgraded and reprogrammed for use with future generation LEDs. The product is able to memorise the settings concerning the operating profiles and all configuration parameters relative to the LED operating currents (standard feature). The fixture is configured (standard feature) for connection through a Wireless system with a PALMTOP touch-screen computer (available as an accessory), for modifying all the settings according to the user's own requirements.

Bell, with its distinctive asymmetrical double truncated cone shape, is available in three sizes with various optics, meaning the fixtures can be used in town centres, along cycle lanes and in traditional street lighting schemes. The various versions are available with two types of projection, one asymmetrical for large spaces directly in front of the installation and one "street" type model with lateral projection. Bell 380 is recommended for pathways, pedestrian walkways and cycle lanes; Bell 460 and 570 for motorised traffic routes, motorway slip roads and roundabouts. The light projection features of the street reflector used in Bell 460 and 570 include excellent uniformity, wide spacing and a low level of glare, regardless of whether metal halide lamps or high-pressure sodium lamps are used. The flat transparent glass and the carefully designed optic guarantee excellent performance levels and light distribution in both street and asymmetrical versions.

STREET FIXTURE BELL

Installing the street fixture The simplicity of the fixture and its accessories means the installation procedure can be carried out by just one operator. All components inside the end cap are fixed together using a steel cable and secured to the diecast aluminium body. No tools required for maintenance The special design of the fixture has made it possible to obtain a versatile and functional product which can be installed by any operator and which is suitable for use in complex overall arrangements (e.g. traffic-heavy roads, town centres, etc.). The option of unfastening the various components (see illustrations) without the use of tools makes it a unique product amongst street fixtures. Easy installation The installation steps are simple and require only one operator. After installation, the cable is no longer visible.

Alignment adjustment Adjustable pole and wall-mounting system means the fixture can be positioned so that it is perfectly parallel to the ground. The photograph illustrates how the fixture can be rotated between 0 and + 20°.

Rotating the parabolic optic by 5°; disconnecting the 2-pole electrical connector in order to remove the optic from the body.

Accessing the fixture The glass support ring is hinged to the body of the fixture, offering simplified maintenance.

Safety during maintenance All versions are fitted with a mechanical disconnection switch which cuts the electricity supply off when the ring is opened.

Rotating the electrified plate by 5°; disconnecting the 3-pole electrical connector in order to view the electrical components.

The closure ring can be removed in order to make maintenance procedures easier for the installer.

Body Die cast aluminium street fixtures, aluminium cast pole-mounting device, ring glass-holder in diecast aluminium hinged with a concealed system and locked into place with four stainless steel captive knobs. Tempered safety glass and aluminium reflector. Body developed in three sizes: diameter 380mm, 460mm and 570mm. Appliance undergoes and anti-oxidation treatment and is then coated with high-resistance textured paint. Light sources Available in the version with metal halide or high pressure sodium lamps starting from 70W and up to 250W.

Power supply Power factor corrected incorporated electromagnetic ballast with timed igniter assembled onto a removable bracket fitted with quick connectors. NAXOS 570

The Naxos range, with its distinctive asymmetrical truncated cone shape, consists of two different-sized versions featuring different optics, meaning the fixtures can be used in town centres and in traditional street lighting schemes. All versions of Naxos are available with two types of projection, one asymmetrical for large spaces directly in front of the installation and one "street" type model with lateral projection. The light projection features of the street reflector include excellent uniformity, wide spacing and a low level of glare, regardless of whether metal halide lamps or highpressure sodium lamps are used. The flat transparent glass and the carefully designed optic guarantee excellent performance levels and light distribution in both street and asymmetrical versions.

Street optic The street optic has been designed so as to concentrate most of the light it produces onto the road surface below, meaning that fewer installations are required and thus limiting maintenance and electricity costs. The optic system can be used to achieve high and uniform luminance on the road while limiting glare. Illumination class: ME3b

HONO 380

The Hono range, with its distinctive truncated cone shape, consists of two different-sized versions featuring different optics, meaning the fixtures can be used in town centres, along cycle lanes and in traditional street lighting schemes. Hono versions are available with three types of projection, one asymmetrical for large spaces directly in front of the installation, one sidewalk type and one "street" type model with lateral projection. Hono 380 is recommended for pathways, pedestrian walkways and cycle lanes; Hono 460 is recommended for

motorised traffic routes, motorway slip roads, roundabouts and vehicle transit and loading/unloading areas near buildings. The light projection features of the street reflector used in Hono 460 include excellent uniformity, wide spacing and a low level of glare, regardless of whether metal halide lamps or high-pressure sodium lamps are used. The flat transparent glass and the carefully designed optic guarantee excellent performance levels and light distribution in both street and asymmetrical versions.

Installation and maintenance The reduced weight and the elongated shape of this fixture make it suitable for safe installation by a single operative. All internal components are safely secured to the lower cap to allow for easy inspection of the electrical parts.

Controlling the switch-on, the chromatic light flux and the combination of these features in preset scenes is necessary to live different spaces in different ways, according to the time of the day, the external daylight conditions and the layout of space.
