PLB is People’s History Champion | Exhibition Design and Build Dedicated to the ‘extraordinary story of ordinary people’, the People’s History Museum in Manchester secured a Stage One Pass in January, which earmarks Heritage Lottery Funding of £7.18m to support the One Site Proposal. This will consolidate their two current locations by building an extension to the historic Pump House Gallery.

A public park since 1926, Shibden Park is packed with character, extensive history and features which typify Calderdale. The Park was owned by the Lister family for over 300 years until 1930s when the Hall was handed over to Halifax Council. Anne Lister created a picturesque park landscape, and through a grant awarded from the Heritage Lottery Fund a ÂŁ6m restoration of Shibden Park is now set to become a reality with the help of Derrick Kershaw Partnership.
