that there is a friendly, abundant, loving, wise energy in the Universe that supports you and wants what is best for you by simply supporting your highest good and of those around you. Letting your fears, concerns, wishes, prayers ?go to God? means that you trust and detach knowing that this energy will work with you through your own built-in guidance system to help draw to you what you want, be it to resolve a dramatic problem, or simply directions to get to Point A to Point B. Having been a control freak, I can honestly say that I am still more comfortable with taking actions steps on what I like to achieve. But sometimes, I am a blank slate? I just don?t know what to do to keep the momentum going. This is where the concept of seeming to do nothing except ?letting go to God? has help me to get unstuck. When I let go, my eyes are wide open to see the opportunities that I may wish to grab onto. My little red box is something that helps me to ?Let go? and ?Let God.? I call it my God's Energy & Resolution Box. My red jeweled box is energized by the power color of RED. It just feels powerful to me, so every time I have a worry, I simply write it out on a piece a paper and then I can let it go from my mind. Here?s an example: I have a problem hiring the right person for advertising sales. So I write on a piece a paper, ?I am thrilled with the success of our new Ad Exec. She or He makes my life so much easier, by saving me time and generating brilliant new ads and income for my businesses. My life is so blessed with my new Advertising Executive.? Notice the phrasing as if the outcome of what I want is happening at this very moment. Also notice that I start out with an ?I AM" statement of gratitude. This opens up the communication to the Universe. I make sure I NEVER put any negat ive st at ement s of want or t he reasons why I don?t have it because I don?t want God t o get conf used wit h my st at ement s and put energy int o t he l ack inst ead of t he desired out come. Here?s another example: If a person has a problem with their boss and wants to resolve the situation, tell God what outcome you would like to have. ?I am so grateful for my boss. We just had a great laugh together and I saw another side of her. I am also grateful that I am not a victim, just a person who has misunderstood her tone. I love that we are communicating like a team and I respect her. I am so glad she is respecting me and what I have to offer.? Not only do you let go, but you'll be pretty proud of yourself for putting down the perfect outcome without bringing up any negativity. After placing your written note to God in the box, close your eyes and go to a place of peace inside you. Find the vortex. Take a few slow deep breaths until you feel your energy begin to shift. Cal l God t o you. Imagine being in the presence of incredible love, light and wisdom. Visualize the OUTCOME that you?ve written on the paper then FEEL your vibration lift. Then just let it go and completely detach from what you just wrote. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn?t it doesn?t. Either way, it will be fine. And finally, in the scheme of the rest of your life, how important is it? Walk away and stop thinking about it.

Songwriter Johnny Mercer You were born with the best body image possible. At birth your thoughts were without judgment. Your thoughts were pure expressions of what your body communicated in the moment. Happy, alert, warm, comfortable, and safe feelings sent by your body directly to your brain and expressed directly by your body. As pure ego, your vibration operated at an extremely high level, because of the purity of that positive communication between your body and your brain. You expressed your positive feelings through your body?s contentment. As an innocent beautiful baby, you attracted attention naturally. All you had to do was ?be?, simply exist. Then, your appearance was more than accepted, it attracted positive attention from everyone. Regardless of what you wore or how much you weighed, your presence on the planet inspired smiles and warmth from everyone around you. You and your body were one, united in survival and growth. In order to make that happen, you smiled, cooed, giggled, drooled and batted your eyes at your caregivers. The direct connection between body and brain occasionally expressed a lower vibration when your body was hungry, wet, thirsty or tired. Bef ore: I also have been grieving over the loss of my beloved bird (Lady Gnawbington) and a lung showed up very clearly. The emotion associated with the lungs is grief. Bef ore: There were also some old emotions that I had closed off that were coming to the surface.

Af t er: Lastly, there were numerous areas of red ?rust spots?. These have to do with the lungs opening up and cleansing some of my grief over the loss of my bird. It was an excellent session that had a profound effect on me personally, and the changes were confirmed with the blood and the Bio-Well. There was much less fatigue on the periphery of the slide indicating my 'gas tank?, or reserve energy, had greatly improved. The colon still showed up but it did not dominate the slide as much, indicating the body was less

These indicate the closed off emotions we had seen be- fore the session were released and were breaking up. As individuals, we know our emotions can have a huge impact on our lives. I think of the science fiction movies where aliens takeover our bodies and remove our emotions to create a perfect society. Our emotions can definitely interfere with our lives and health, but a life and world without emotions would be extremely boring. Knowing that the effect of emotions can have on our body has been proven, the question is how do you use this knowledge? The trick is to become aware that you are having an emotional episode in order to separate yourself from it. Many times we identify ourselves with that emotion. ?I am angry?, ?I am frustrated?, or ?I am sad.? The reality is YOU are not any of those things, you just happen to have that emotion in you at the moment. ?I have some anger in me at the moment?, ?I have some frustration in me at the moment?, ?I have sadness in me at the moment, ? A W i l t i n g Sex Li f e Doesn ?t Have To Be You r Real i t y By El l en Wood, Feat u r ed Col u m n i st Somehow our society has accepted the idea that when we get into middle age and beyond, sex becomes less exciting, less pleasurable, less possible. And if that?s what people keep affirming, that?s what they get. It?s the Law of Attraction at work. A wilting sex life doesn?t have to be your reality and there are scientific studies that prove this. We can still enjoy passionate sex into our 80s and beyond. Lovemaking actually stirs up the life force within and can help us to grow younger. Catching ourselves whenever old programming surfaces is an important part of growing younger. Here?s one ?affirmation? that?s not expressed openly, but can be subtly damaging our libido, Sex is a problem; I must be getting old. An unintentional affirmation works just as well as intentional ones do. I keep forgetting where I put my glasses is one of those. You might couch it in stronger terms than I just did but remember, you are affirming something you don?t want to do. The intensity of your feeling, in this case frustration, and how often you say it, will determine the magnitude of your manifestation. Your memory Page 24 - August , 2016

will most likely become worse if you keep repeating that it?s always forgetting things. Intentional affirmations will not work to their full potential unless you become aware of your mind chatter which could be contradicting what you really want. Let me put it this way: your moment to moment thoughts are all affirmations, and affirmations can be negative too. If they are self-defeating thoughts, you?re accumulating quite a bit of negative momentum. So catch yourself whenever you?re saying something negative about yourself or worrying about what might happen as you get older. You can use those moments when you catch yourself to turn the thought into a positive affirmation. Let?s say you catch yourself thinking: I?ll never be able to finish a Sudoku puzzle. Red flag goes up. Now is your opportunity to create a positive affirmation: I?m getting better at Sudoku all the time! This negates the defeating thought and eventually you?ll have evidence that you can finish a Sudoku. Here?s an example of a mindless affirmation I heard in the ladies room at the hotel in Albuquerque right before I gave a keynote address for the New Mexico Department of Aging. A woman was

lifetime trying to be something that I?m not. Death made me reevaluate what is actually important in life. When we don?t realize this? that death is the ultimate leveler? our priorities are very different. But once we have a glimpse of it and actually experience it and bring that feeling back with us, we realize: Wow! All these things that I thought mattered actually have no significance on the other side! It rearranges all our priorities in life? how we live, how we deal with our emotions, everything. Having already faced death, I now know that spending a lifetime of always playing it safe, for example, by choosing the safest career, by pleasing people, worrying about what everyone else thinks of me, meeting everyone else?s expectations except my own, being what everyone else wanted me to be, etc. felt like a totally wasted life. I feel so blessed to have been given a second chance, because most people don?t get to come back when

they learn that lesson. This time, I plan to pursue my dreams, love more, laugh more, not take life so seriously, and live fearlessly. Our life is our prayer. It?s our gift to the universe. We owe it to ourselves and everyone around us to be happy and spread Page 30 - August , 2016

Because of her background and British education, she is multilingual and grew up speaking English, Cantonese, and an Indian dialect simultaneously; she later learned French at school. Anita had been working in the corporate world for many years before being diagnosed with cancer in April 2002. Her fascinating and moving near-death experience in early 2006 tremendously changed her perspective on life, and her work is now ingrained with the depths and insights she gained while in the other realm. As a result of her near-death experience, Anita is often invited to speak at conferences and events around the globe to share her insights. She did extensive tours with Dr. Wayne Dyer whom she called her friend and mentor, often appearing with him on stage. Have you ever thought you had to give up a part of yourself or your life that you loved in order to attract or achieve something else? I think there is a lot out there that tells people if you want this you have to give up that. It?s often said about personality traits, friends and possessions. I never liked that. It never felt good to me. I think that as you grow some things naturally change. As you step into your future self, you feel called to let somethings and people go. That is okay and natural. However, I don?t think the Universe ever says if you want x, you must give up y. The ultimate fuel to attract your most desired dreams is to be happy. If you have to give up what makes you happy in order to get something else that is going to make you happy, what is the point? The whole reason you want clients, a new house or that trip you have been thinking of is to add more joy into your life. You can?t get there by excluding joy. This is why I moved into the Four Seasons AND I still drive my ?05 Jeep Wrangler. I love my jeep. When I bought it, I was really making a stand for what I wanted in my life and silencing the voices of other people. In many ways it was the start of me defining what happiness looks like for myself. Have I mentioned I love it? It?s not fancy, by most standards, and if I was a different person I might feel bad when the valet pulls the jeep around in a sea of expensive sports cars. Gratitude is a natural part of who we are. When you give thanks for your desires, it is an acknowledgment that you already have your desires as part of your reality. Create a vision that inspires and excites you for years to come. If it is fleeting, it will not foster a consistent pattern to reflect your life goals. Focus on your vision consistently, not now and then. Allow it to change as needed, as change is a part of life. People who do not have a vision, travel aimlessly. you?ll be more likely to make good decisions and avoid regretting it later. Set a timer for 30 minutes or play a music mix that takes about that time. Start anywhere, pick up an object, and decide whether you?re keeping it. If you are, put it in the proper place. If you?re not, put it into one of three piles: Toss, Donate, Sell. Keep doing this until the timer rings or the music stops. Congratulate yourself because you?re done clearing for the day. Take the ?Toss? items out to the trash, place the ?Donate? items in the similarly-labeled box (when the box is near full call your favorite charity and arrange for a pick up). If you have things in your ?Sell? box you should list them on eBay, Craig?s List, or similar sites ? but I advise most people to skip this because it could ultimately lead to more clutter. Give It Time. Whether you?re grieving over the death of a loved one, mourning the loss of favorite possessions when downsizing, or facing the reality of getting rid of your children?s ?stuff? when facing an empty-nest, there may be some objects that you can?t deal with right then. This is the time to create a fourth pile marked ?Decide? and place these objects here as you clear. When you?re done clearing, pack away the items in the ?Decide? pile and don?t thing about it. In about six months - or when you?re ready - open the box and make some decisions about the contents. It?s okay to ask your relatives and friends if they want your family items, but distribute these with care.
