New LinkedIn Group Will Serve Water Conservation Professionals LAGUNA HILLS, Calif. (Feb. 11, 2009) - A LinkedIn group to serve water conservation professionals has been created by Laer Pearce & Associates, a leading public affairs firms that specializes in water and conservation issues. The group, Water Conservation Professionals, is a nationwide forum for the discussion of water conservation issues, to encourage the sharing of effective – and ineffective – policies, products, communication strategies, regulations and incentives. It will also include job postings and other networking functions. The group can be found on www.LinkedIn.com by selecting the “groups” link on the left-hand side and searching for “Water Conservation Professionals.” “In our fifteen-plus years of working with water agencies, we have always focused on how communications can be used to change the public’s perception and behavior regarding water supply and conservation,” said Laer Pearce, president of Laer Pearce & Associates. “We saw a need for an instant and ongoing exchange of information and discussion between professionals who are focused on water conservation like we are. This group will satisfy that need.” Laer Pearce & Associates has 25 years of public affairs experience.
