tem. Kingdom Hearts is about a young 14-year-old boy named Sora, who dreams of traveling to other worlds beyond his island home. One night his world is lost in violent storm along with his friends, 15-year-old Riku and 14-year-old Kairi. Sora sets out to find his lost friends while at the same time Court Wizard Donald and Captain Goofy set out to find King Mickey who is missing from the Disney Castle. On their travels Sora meets Donald and Goofy and they travel together in search of the King and Sora’s lost friends. The trio is told of dark, evil creatures known as the Heartless- beings with no hearts and here from another dimension. Sora learns that they caused the storm that tore his island home apart. Sora is the chosen one as the Keyblade wielder; the Keyblade is a weapon of light used to seal the keyholes and destroy the Heartless. The Heartless are being controlled by the Disney Villains, with Maleficent as their leader, in search of the Seven Princesses of Heart, who can unlock a final mysterious door. As the group discovers that the storm, the Heartless and King Mickey’s disappearance are all connected, they join forces and travel to different worlds teaming up with Disney Hero’s to save their worlds against the dark Heartless.

KINGDOM HEARTS: CHAIN OF MEMORIES Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is the next game in the series to be released back in 2004. This game was released for the Game Boy Advance handheld game system. After the battle with the Heartless, Sora had to seal King Mickey and Riku in the door to darkness with the Key Blade, but was reminded by the King that there is always a door to the light. Setting out on another journey with Donald and Goofy to find the King and Riku after Kairi was back safely on their island home Sora finds himself at a crossroad. Sora is approached by a man in black and is directed down the path to the mysterious fortress “Castle Oblivion”. Here Sora fights his way to save a young girl named Namine, who is working with a nasty yet mysterious group. As Sora, Donald and Goofy climb higher up through the castle their memories start to fade. In order to save their memories and ultimately them, Namine must put the three hero’s in a deep sleep. Can Sora save Namine before all his memories are lost?

KINGDOM HEARTS: 358/2 DAYS Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, was released back in 2009 on the hand-held game system for the Nintendo DS. This game is where things start to get confusing on the chronological scale of things going from in order to out of order. This game is about Roxas, the boy from KH 2 and his story of how he got to Twilight Town in the first place. In Kingdom Hearts, Sora releases his heart, by using the Keyblade, to release Kairi’s heart and by doing so he created his Nobody Roxas. This game is about how Roxas doesn’t remember his past, or his ties to Sora, and joins Organization XIII and slowly begins to understand who he is and what the Organization is all about. Roxas befriends the fourteenth member of the Organization, who also doesn’t remember her past. What is the Organization up to? How does Roxas tie to Sora and the fourteenth member?

KINGDOM HEARTS: BIRTH BY SLEEP Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, was released back in 2010 onto the hand-held game system the PSP. Sora was not the first person to ever be chosen by a Keyblade. In the very beginning even before Sora, there were Keyblade Masters who would protect the worlds from darkness.

The three Keyblade youthsTerra, Aqua and Ventus- have been training long and hard to become Keyblade Masters under their teacher, Master Eraqus. They must prove themselves in the Mark of Mastery exam to show what a Keyblade Master is all about. However, during this time turmoil has hit the different worlds and another Keyblade Master, Xehanort has gone missing. It’s up to the trio to go find Xehanort and save the worlds. Everything here will lead back to the beginning. KINDOM HEARTS RE: CODED Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded, was released in 2011 for the hand-held game system Nintendo DS. This story begins after Kingdom Hearts II, where Jiminy Cricket looks over the journal he has kept of the adventures with Sora and finds a mysterious message that he didn’t write. With the help of King Mickey, Jiminy’s journal is digitized and in the digital world data Sora, a second Sora, is awakened to find out what the mysterious message means.

This game picks up where Re: Coded left off, by Sora and Riku going to meet with King Mickey and Master Yen Sid. Here Yen Sid will test and train the boys to become Keyblade Masters, however, there are worlds that need attending to that have no been wakened from their sleep. These sleeping worlds had been cut off from outside channels, which means not even the Heartless can enter. But these worlds have their own dark enemies called “Dream Eaters”. There are two kinds: Nightmares are dark figures that devour happy dreams, and benevolent Spirits, which consume the Nightmares. There are seven
