M E E T

L A U R E N

With a strong passion for Interior Design, I strive to pursue a professional career in this dynamic industry as a Registered Interior Designer. Guiding my career aspirations has been the completion of my studies at the Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. I remained a dedicated, innovative, highly creative and efficient design student while enrolled in Kwantlen University’s intensive four-year CIDA undergraduate program. Working and learning in an environment that exemplifies innovation through problem solving while embodying collaboration, is my ultimate goal. I have gained tremendous experience while attaining my degree and the culmination of my education and my opportunities at KPU has lead me to develop a strong skill set. Understanding building code requirements, creative development of concept, integrating evidence based design into project proposals and developing an understanding of how texture, light, and colour cohesively interact within the built environment are essential elements to my knowledge and abilities. Interior design has and continues to inspire and influence me; the opportunity to gain experience and learn from others motivates me.
