And yet they seem to be achieving tremendous success? I know I used to feel this way on a regular basis! I worked really hard to have my blog looking good, well organised and easy for people to use. I spent hour after hour on ensuring that my content was really good quality content that people would really benefit from and that would have them coming back time and time again. And I gathered a massive number of free tips, ideas and resources that could benefit anyone and everyone in this industry whether they were brand new to the world of internet marketing or had been struggling within this industry for years. Now, with the exception of one strategy, all of the marketing strategies that I am going to take you through here are free! I understand only too well that if you are just starting out in this industry or if you have been struggling in this industry for a long time, you are very unlikely to have either the ability or the desire to spend a fortune on marketing. But let me give you a word of advice. There are some paid for marketing strategies out there that can sky rocket your traffic and therefore your earning ability and success, but they do require a fairly significant budget and of course carry an element of risk. Therefore I strongly suggest that you follow all of the free strategies that I am going to give you here and when you begin to see the traffic and results you are looking for, make sure that you take some of your profits and feed them in to your advertising budget. Then armed with your budget, do a huge amount of research in paid for advertising strategies, choose the right ones, do them well and sky rocket your traffic even further! So where do we start? Well let me start by telling you that I am not some faceless affiliate marketer. I am an affiliate for some products, but only those that I use and believe in. I am not going to give you techniques to con people in to buying stuff that they don’t want or need. I am going to give you clear and proven strategies to drive traffic to you! Chapter One Making Your Content Go Viral! This is your ultimate aim. You want all of your content to go viral and to work for you long after you’ve written it. There are some golden rules to ensure that you achieve this: Only ever produce high quality, useful content. You need to really commit to only ever producing high quality, useful content. Your content is going to go viral because it’s so good and so useful that people want to share it. If it’s not good enough for that, then give up now because with all the will in the world it isn’t going anywhere! You need to really take time to consider your content, to always make sure it’s giving real value and that it is going to leave your reader wanting more. There are hundreds of blogs out there that you can use for research so have a good look around and decide for yourself which seem to be the most relevant, popular and useful topics. You can then begin to pull together a plan of your content based upon what people really want to read and learn about. I highly recommend that you do take some time to plan out your posts. There’s nothing wrong with adding posts that reflect things that might have just come in to your mind there and then but don’t leave your content down to this alone. Your structured plan with a full list of topics and when you intend to post them will really keep you on the right track. When you are pulling your posts together take the time to ensure that they grab the reader’s attention but are then very easy to read. People do not tend to take the time to sit and read a blog post fully and in its entirety. Instead they tend to scan the post, looking for the most relevant information and anything particularly interesting or valuable that will suck them in further. Therefore take some time to consider the title that you are using for your post. Make sure that your posts make sense individually as often a single post will be

seen by people on other sites outside of the context of your blog. Your ultimate aim with each post should be to encourage the reader to want to come to your blog and spend time learning more about you. In terms of the length of your posts, you need to get the balance right here. Too long and people are not going to read them. People want quick results and want to get to the juicy information quickly, avoiding the waffle! Too short however and your posts are not going to rank. Try to aim for between 250 and 400 words and you won’t go too far wrong. When you have written your post, before you publish it, go back and review it asking yourself the question of whether your post is giving the reader something of value. If not then go back and re-write it. You need to make sure that you are offering your reader something of value with each and every post you write. Make sure the content is seen in as many places as possible. Once you are comfortable with the content of your post, you need to take the initial ownership in getting your content seen in as many places as possible. You can start by submitting your content to your social networking sites. A good example of this is automatically importing your blog in to facebook. You can use the application under ‘notes’ and ‘import a blog’ to automatically pull your feed in from your blog, however this is going to pull in the full post. Rather than doing this I recommend that you either sign up with ‘networkedblogs’ and they will import your blog for you or that you share each post manually as you publish via the share buttons on your blog (if you don’t have share buttons you should add them as a priority – if you are not sure how to do this there is a simple tutorial on my website that you can follow.) By doing it this way you will only add the title and a few lines of your post to your facebook page with a link back to your blog rather than adding the full post. This will generate more traffic to your blog than if people could read the whole post on facebook. You do however need to make sure you are using

titles that draw people in and that the first few lines of your post are going to encourage people to want to read more. As long as you do this not only are you putting your content in front of every one of your contacts on Facebook, you are also drawing traffic back to your blog. You can also add your blog posts on Twitter, MySpace and all of your other Social Network and bookmarking sites. Remember, the more places you have it, the more people are going to see. Just remember to always encourage people to come back to your blog within the posts that you will be sharing on other sites. Your superb content will do the rest for you. And of course don’t forget to share your blog and blog posts with all of the blog sites and aggregators out there. Submitting your blog feed to aggregators is a great way to get your content shared. There are hundreds to choose from and you can even upload plug-ins to your wordpress blog to automate the whole process (although these don’t tend to be free). If you are happy to do this manually then just make a list of all of the aggregators you are going to use and build it in as part of your routine every time you post to your blog. feednuts.com syndic8.com In order to do any of this you need to have your RSS feed set up for your blog. Most blog templates build this in for you automatically. If not you will be able to add it yourself via your widgets. You can choose to use services such as feedburner.com to manage your RSS feed. This can be more user friendly for your subscribers as well as giving you the option to personalise your own page a little by adding your image and detail. You can also convert individual posts in to RSS feeds and submit them to aggregators separately. Just bear in mind that some aggregators will not accept your feed if it contains too little content. If you want to set up individual feeds for your content you can do that by using sites such as feedity.com. All you do is submit the URL of your post and they will generate an RSS feed that you can then submit to feed aggregators.

Remember to encourage people to share your content!

Having share buttons on your blog posts is not enough – you need to encourage people to share your content! It’s amazing how many more people will do something just because you ask them to. And remember, because you are producing high quality, useful content you are not going to be asking much from them. I am sure that with a gentle reminder from you, they will be happy to share your content! You can also encourage people to help you to build your ranking on blogsharing sites. There are many of them out there; a simple search in Google will bring up a full list for you. However, a good example of one of these sites is Zimbio.com. blog this site works on something called Kudos. The more Kudos you are given from other people, the better your blog will rank on their site. You can download a Kudos button on your site and encourage your readers to give you kudos on Zimbo.com if they like what they read. All they do is click the button – it couldn’t be easier! Other blog sharing sites ask you to submit a button to your site that tracks the number of visitors you get. The more popular your blog, the more your blog will move up the rankings on their sites. So not only will be you be getting more visitors by having your blog on their site, you’ll be moving up their rankings due to the visitors you are getting from them! Two examples of these sites are TopBlogArea.com and TopBlogging.com, but there are loads more out there so go and check them out for yourself.

Chapter Two Guest Blogging Your Way To Success! Guest blogging is an incredibly simple and under-used method of generating huge amounts of additional traffic. After all, by being a guest on someone else’s blog, you have access to all of their traffic and can encourage their visitors to visit your blog. Again, here you need to rely on your content if this is ever going to work. You are going to have to be at the top of your game, both in order to get other blog owners to want you to guest blog for them but also to encourage all of their traffic reading your blog post to want to come and learn more about you! So think carefully about what you have to offer. As well as considering your content you also need to think about what you can pitch to the owner of the blog to have them wanting you to guest blog for them. If you already have a steam of traffic to your blog then this is easy – all you need to do is offer them the opportunity to come and guest blog for you. That way, they get to benefit from your traffic and you from theirs – it couldn’t be simpler. However, if you don’t have much traffic to offer them yet, that doesn’t mean to say that this option won’t work for you. All you need to do is to consider what else you have to offer. Start by considering what the blog owner is trying to achieve – more likely than not this is going to be a following of people who regularly come back to their blog due to the good quality content, who build up a level of trust and loyalty and who are therefore more likely to purchase products from them or to want to work with them in future. So, now that you know what they are trying to achieve, how can you being a guest blogger for them support them in doing that? Well to begin with you are going to offer them some amazing, no holds barred content that provides some top quality information, advice and tips for their visitors. likely to get for free anywhere else. Give them some of your closely guarded secrets or better still, go out there and interview a big hitter and share some of their closely guarded secrets! Whatever it is, the blog owner needs to feel confident that this will really add some value for their visitors! Secondly, you can agree with the blog owner that you will publish the post on your blog with a link back to their site. As well as the link, this will encourage what traffic you do have to check out their website. As long as you are following strategy number one and linking your posts to your social media sites too then you will be putting that information in front of many more people than with your blog alone. You can also let the blog owner know that if they do want to guest post on your site even with its limited traffic, you will introduce them as an expert that you’ve invited to guest blog due to the amount that your visitors can learn from them. They can then post this to their own blog which will be beneficial in helping them to show their own visitors that they are a sought after expert in their industry. A huge benefit to them and their credibility and also a win for you when your visitors see that you are able to draft in experts to give them top tips and advice. So where do you start with this? Well first of all do some research and write a list of the twenty or so top performing blogs in your niche. You can do this easily by searching on Google and seeing which blogs are taking prominent position in the market place. Once you have your list, pull together an email for you to send to each of these bloggers. Remember, within this email you need to help them to see exactly what’s in it for them – after all they are not going to be interested in what’s in it for you! So spell this out to them in a friendly, approachable manner, remember you don’t want this to sound like a sales pitch! Now, not everyone is going to say yes, but if even 2 or 3 out of your list of 20 bloggers agree, then you’re on your way. Summary & Action Sheet Summary  Guest blogging can be a very easy way to generate a lot of traffic.  Even if you don’t have much traffic, you always have things that you can offer other bloggers in exchange for you guest blogging for them.  Your content here is key – you must offer some amazing, valuable content that your chosen blog owner knows will benefit their visitors.

Actions  Compile a list of 20 of the best blogs in your niche.  Consider what you can offer the other bloggers in exchange for you guest blogging.  Ensure that your guest blog post encourages viewers to want to learn more about you and has clear links back to your site.  Consider offering the blog owners you want to guest blog for ‘expert status’ on your blog with the opportunity to publish the post or link to it from their blog.  Email your chosen blog owners with a friendly manner, ensuring you spell out what is in this for them without it ever sounding like a sales pitch.

Chapter Three Your Top Ten Favourite Experts (And How They Can Help To Drive Your Traffic! Developing a post or a series of posts about your favourite experts within your niche can be an incredibly easy source of traffic generation. This is especially true if you take some time to do your research and even get in touch with your chosen top ten to ask them to answer a couple of questions for you. It is very unlikely that they are going to say no, considering you will be pitching them as your favourite expert and providing them with free publicity – especially as you are asking nothing in return! This is going to draw traffic to you in three ways; First people are going to see names that they recognise in your post and instantly be drawn to it. If they see a name they know they are going to want to know what you are writing about them. Make sure that you get this information across early so that you get more click throughs to your blog from your social networking sites where people are only viewing your title and the first couple of lines of your post. Secondly, if you are writing complimentary things about an expert out there and they are aware of it, there are likely to want to use that in the way that it will most benefit them. They are likely to want their visitors to see that a) they have been singled out as a top expert and b) all of the good things you are saying about them. It is therefore likely that they are going to share your content or link to it from their site. A fantastic way to generate a huge flow of traffic to your blog! Thirdly, because you have gone to the experts directly and asked them a couple of very easy questions (which has taken very little of their time), you now have a fantastic opportunity to show others that you are associated with these guys. Your Top Ten Favourite Experts (And How They Can Help To Drive Your Traffic! Summary & Action Sheet Summary  Writing posts about experts can be very effective in generating extra traffic to your site.  People that you write about as an expert are likely to want to reference of link to your post – driving traffic to your blog.  People who see blog posts with familiar names are likely to want to read it to see what you are writing about.  Contacting your chosen experts and asking a couple of easy to answer questions can improve the content of your post as well as giving you instant credibility due to your access to the experts!

Actions  Use Google to search for some of the most successful and best known experts in your niche.  Contact them to let them know you are writing a piece, pitching them as your favourite expert and ask if they will answer a couple of your questions.  Ensure that your title and first few lines indicate who your post is about to ensure it catches as many people’s attention as possible.  Ensure the content is top quality and then send a copy to your favourite expert with the option to link to your content from their own sites.

Chapter Four E-Book Your Way To Excellent Traffic! Writing an e-book sounds like an incredibly daunting prospect - right? I can understand why you might think that. After all, books are hundreds of pages long – where would you find the time to do that? And just as importantly what on earth would you write about? So first of all, let’s clarify one thing - e-books do not need to be hundreds of pages long. In fact most tend to be somewhere between 40 and 120 pages in length. However even so, you are forgetting about many other options. For example, you could write a report, you could write a guide or you could even gather up a number of your already written articles and turn them in to a book. You could even trawl back through all of your archived posts and turn them in to a book. You have lots of options. And if you choose to go for a report or a guide, then it is perfectly acceptable if it is only 6 pages long! People do not expect e-books to be the chunky books that they would find on their book shelves at home. So, now that the length is no longer putting you off you have a few choices. You can either write your e-book from scratch, pull it together from your old posts and articles or you can choose to go down the route of PLR. We will explore PLR in more detail a little later but to begin with let’s assume you are starting from scratch or using your own work. The key thing to consider is to make sure that you are writing something that people will want to read. A perfect example of that is this book. I am sharing my traffic secrets within this book because I know that is one of the things that people struggle with most in this industry and are therefore likely to want to read about. Now remember that you are going to be giving this away for free. If you want to write e-books to sell later, than you can do that, but for the purposes of this technique you will be giving your book away for free. This means that you need to make sure that you get the balance right. Of course the content has to be good quality. If you put a poor quality product out there it is going to

undermine you, your brand and your credibility. You want to avoid this at all costs! However, equally you need to put a time limit on this. You really shouldn’t be spending more than half a day on this so plan on 4-5 hours max. Anything beyond that and other things that you should be doing are going to start to suffer. Remember when you are writing your book that it’s ok to be yourself. Yes, you need to present a professional approach but no it doesn’t have to be written with the finesse of an experienced author. I don’t know about you but the books and guides that I enjoy reading most are ones where I really feel like the writer is talking to me. So feel free to be yourself and where possible have a conversation with your reader in the way that you would if they were there in front of you. So once you’ve pulled your book together there are two things that you need to do. The first is to create an e-book cover. There are lots of options out there, including outsourcing this task for very small sums of money, but if you want to maintain control of this process then you can use an online tool to do it yourself. There are plenty of different sites to choose from – just try typing ebook covers in to Google and it will show you thousands of results. One that I have used recently is myecovermaker.com. It’s free to join and design your cover then costs you approximately $4 to download it without the watermark. Not much to pay when you consider how much more professional this can make your product look. Before you go ahead and distribute your book you may want to think about copyright. You automatically get the copyright of your own material but if anyone did copy it and you found out, the burden of proof would fall to you to prove that you had this material first. That is the bit that can be tricky to prove. There are companies who will copyright online for a relatively small fee. They keep a record of the material and submission date and provide this as legal evidence should someone try to copy your work in future. Whether or not this is something that you feel you need for your product is completely up to you. You also want to consider whether you are going to allow people to distribute your product or sell it. Again, this is completely your choice. However as long

as you have plenty of links back to your site and you stipulate that the document must remain unchanged if distributed, allowing other people to distribute your work can get it seen by far more people who may then be tempted to come back to your site to learn more about you. So once you have made your decision around copyright and distribution and added a note to the front of your book to this effect you are ready to distribute it. You can do this yourself by having a capture page on your website, but this will obviously only distribute it to the traffic you are currently getting. Another option is to market your free book via your social networking sites, and encourage people to come to your blog to sign up and download it. The final and most powerful option is to distribute your book via free e-book sites and this is where most of your traffic is going to come from. There are lots of sites out there that you can upload your book to so feel free to check them all out. However the ones that I have found to be most successful in generating traffic are: free-ebooks.net getfreeebooks.com e-library.net I would recommend that you upload your free book to all of these sites. A lot of people do record tutorials, e-courses and videos and upload them to their site but not many people are making the most of the tutorial sites out there. You probably have content that you could upload straight away! Your tutorial can be in whichever form you choose. It may be a simple written tutorial; it could be a presentation or a video. The choice is yours. All you need to do is pull your tutorial together and upload it to the tutorial sites out there. In turn people will search those tutorial sites for information they need and on downloading your tutorial will see the regular links back to your site that you use throughout it. A great way to generate more traffic. Very much like all of the other approaches that we have discussed, it is vitally important here to ensure that your content is top quality. If you put poor quality tutorials out there that offer little guidance or useful information then people are not going to come back to your site for further information about you and to see what else you have to offer. You need to use this opportunity to draw the viewer in and leave them keen to learn more about you and from you. So even if you do have some readymade content, double check it first and really consider the value you are adding. Remember, where ever possible you are aiming to exceed your viewers’ expectations. Chapter Six Set Your Article Marketing On Fire!!! I have no doubt that you have heard of and may be even use Article Marketing. Some people swear by it and some people cannot stand it. I understand the Article Marketing can really seem like hard work and for that reason most people would prefer to avoid it. It also doesn’t perform in the same way these days as it used to a few years ago. However, I do believe that Article Marketing still has an awful lot to offer. Especially with some of the following cool techniques that are going to put your Article Marketing campaign on overdrive! So unfortunately I am not going to tell you to stop writing articles. In fact I am going to tell you to write more of them. However I am going to show you how to do much more with them – driving amazing amounts of traffic from just one piece of work! In this industry as much as in any other I truly believe in the importance of working smarter rather than working harder. You could work every hour of every day but if you are not using your time wisely then you are going to produce very few results. That’s why from here on in we are going to join up everything we do to produce explosive results! Articles do not have to be very long, in fact it has been proven that shorter articles tend to get more hits than longer ones. People are looking for useful information quickly and are keen to avoid any unnecessary waffle! So pitch your articles around the 300-500 word mark and you won’t go too far wrong! Now bearing in mind that within this section on Article Marketing we are just coming up for around 300 words now it shows you that an article does not take a great deal of content. From now on in, every time you write a blog post I want you to turn it in to an article (obviously with the exception of the ones about what you did at the weekend!) This will take you no time at all. All you have to do is ensure that you set the scene more clearly due to the reader not already being on your blog and give a little more of a professional ending that you need to on most blog posts. Now as we have already discussed how important your high quality content is, I’m sure you will already be thinking very carefully about what goes in to your posts. Therefore you are going to have high quality material that you can easily turn in to an article with a few lines added at the beginning, a few added at the end and a couple of tweaks in between. Now you are going to submit your article to all of the article directories out there in the way that you would normally do (if you are not sure about this it is well worth completing some quick and basic Article Marketing training). Once you have submitted your article this is where the magic starts! Now that you have turned your blog post in to an article you are about to turn your article in to a Powerpoint presentation. This is really easy to do. All you need to do is pull out the main text and themes in to bullets, add some images, give it a professional finish and you are ready to go. Just remember this presentation is going to be shared without any additional audio so make sure anyone watching it can decipher everything from the slides alone. Now to make sure that this is valuable in terms of driving traffic to your site you need to add in links back to your site. You can do this throughout the slides or you can choose to have an opening slide, a closing slide or both directing viewers back to your blog for more info. Again content is key here – if you are not giving valuable and useful content people are not going to want to learn more about you and what you can offer them. You can do this either by recording yourself via webcam as you talk through your article or you can use the slides you prepared and record some supporting audio. You can use software such as Camtasia to do this. Camtasia normally offer a free 30 day trial so look them up in Google and give it a go. Alternatively Camstudio is free software that you can use. It’s not as good as Camtasia but it will certainly do the job – especially considering it’s free! Once your video is complete, upload it to all of the top video sharing sites. Just make sure that if you are uploading it to Youtube it is simply valuable content and does not include any kind of sales pitch as pitching on Youtube is a sure fire way to have your Youtube channel shut down! Now for your next step you are going to take your video and convert it in to a tutorial. This couldn’t be easier. Just present your information in a step by step process, making it simple and straight forward for other people to follow. Remember to add links back to your site and then you can go ahead and upload your tutorial to a tutorial site and you have just set yourself up yet another traffic stream! Now you can go back to your original article and turn it in to a PDF document. If you don’t have the software to do this you can do it very easily online by going to a site like pdfonline.com. Once you have your article in a PDF format you can upload it to a document sharing site. You’ll find loads to choose from on Google and by doing this you have just created another traffic stream back to your blog (as long as you remember to have clear links back to your blog in your document!) Now if you want to take this another step further then go back to your original article and see if this is topic that is ripe for you to be able to further develop. then make yourself a cover for your e-book and upload it to the e-book sites that we discussed earlier – giving you yet another stream of traffic from your original blog post! So from just one of your blog posts you have done the following:  You have posted some valuable content to your blog for your site viewers.  You have integrated this content to your social networking sites to put it in front of more people and drive traffic back to your blog.  You have written an article quickly and easily by making some simple tweaks and additions to your post which you have submitted to all of the top article directories which will drive traffic back to your blog.  You have created a presentation from your article which you have uploaded to slide sharing sites with clear links back to your site which will drive more traffic back to your blog.  You have converted your presentation in to a video which you have uploaded to the video sharing sites, generating more traffic back to your blog.  You have converted your presentation and video in to a step by step tutorial that you have submitted to tutorial sites – generating further additional traffic!  You have turned your article in to a PDF document which you have uploaded to document sharing sites, driving yet more traffic back to your blog!  And if you wanted to go the whole hog you’ve padded out your original article, turning it in to a report, a guide or even an e-book and have uploaded it to the e-book sharing sites!

Wow – amazing huh? All that traffic from all of those different sources from one blog post! And ok, it’s going to take you a little more time that it would take you to write a normal blog post. And yes, this is reliant upon your blog posts being full of top quality content, but that’s a given if you want to succeed

Chapter Seven Is PLR Your Magic Formula? So a lot of the strategies that we have discussed so far require an element of writing from you. Now I could write until the cows come home because I enjoy it! But I understand that for some of you out there it just isn’t your cup of tea. So if that applies to you I want to discuss an alternative option for you. PLR – Private Label Rights. If you don’t enjoy writing your own content then you might want to consider buying products with PLR. You can get some high quality PLR documents now that you can use either as is or you can alter as you choose. If you have the Private Label Rights to the document then if you choose to, you can adjust this work to show you as the author. You can then use this instead of your own e-book, guide, report or article and still follow all of the above methods that we have discussed. This can be an incredibly quick way to get started so you may even choose to do this to begin with while you pull together your own content for future use – the choice is yours. If you do decide to use PLR just bear a couple of things in mind. The first is that if you can buy this content then other people can too. Even though the quickest option by far would be just to change the author name and push it straight out, it may be worth taking some time to make some changes to the content in order to ensure that you are not pushing out content that is exactly the same as other peoples. The other consideration is the quality of this information. Chapter Eight Building Your List – Quickly! As well as driving more traffic to your site, your ultimate goal here is to build your list. I have no doubt that you have already considered how to encourage people to join your list and have some kind of freebie or incentive for them to sign up with you. The issue is therefore getting the traffic in order to get the sign ups – right? So here I am going to cover some really quick ways to build your list which you can then use to leverage extra traffic. It’s very difficult when you are starting out in this industry as you are trying to draw people in before you have anything to offer. One of the techniques that we are going to discuss is how to work with others to generate some amazing traffic. But before you can do that you need to have a list – even a relatively small one. Now, every other technique that I have used so far has been completely free. So if you have implemented them and started to see some traffic, hopefully you have started to see some success that you can draw from to get yourself a little advertising budget. Once you have that budget I strongly recommend that you spend it on solo ads. Solo ads can be one of the most cost effective advertising options out there. The price does vary depending on the number of people your ad is going out to, however for around $200 you should be able to drive enough traffic to add a good number of subscribers to your list. Do this a couple of times and you will be in a position to really be able to use your list as leverage. If you have the budget to run two solo ads then you could develop a list big enough for our next technique in less than 30 days. But do take your time to do your research and make sure that you are only running solo ads with people who have received good feedback from others. There are lots of places where

Before you go ahead and follow this technique I really recommend that you complete some in-depth training on getting the best results from using solo ads. You don’t after all want to waste any of the small advertising budget that you may have. I have no doubt that there will be a good amount of training freely available out there if you look for it. Just take the time to verify that the training is from a credible source and it not quickly put together rubbish only to suck you in to buying another product. If you are not already member of a community out there I highly recommend that you join one. There are lots of membership sites that you can join. Although this means paying a monthly fee, you can gain access to not only a huge number of hints tips and ideas; you can also access some incredible, thorough training that is regularly updated. The fact that it is regularly updated is very important as this industry changes so quickly. A technique or strategy that worked amazingly well one month can produce very little success the next. You also have sites out there that regularly change their approach or rules towards the content that you can post with them meaning a strategy from an older training document or guide that you implement could end up getting you banned from that site. A great example of this is Youtube. They have very recently tightened up their approach in terms of the content you are able to post resulting in thousands of Youtube accounts being shut down with no opportunity available to open another. Yet there are still any number of Youtube training guides, books and courses out there that although were giving valuable content a year or two ago are now teaching you to do nothing other than get your Youtube channel closed down! By being a member of a community you can be assured that you are getting honest, reliable and up to date information and training regularly. Chapter Nine Working With The Best People To Explode Your Traffic! So now that you have a list there are other options available to you. One of the most effective strategies that you can use is Ad Swaps. Ad Swaps can be really effective as long as you work with someone with a similar mindset and approach as you. The approach is very simple. You approach a partner that you can swap ads with. This basically means that you can email your list with their ad or offer and they will email their list with your offer. Now if you partner with someone who has built their list in the right way, by providing valuable content and building relationships as you have done (refer to back to The MLM Success Handbook for nurturing your list) then you can get some great results from this approach. The most effective results come from the fact that both you and your chosen partner are endorsing each other’s work. And if you have both built your lists the right way, then your endorsement is all that’s required for both of you to see excellent results! One word of caution with this approach however – you need to ensure that the person you are ad swapping with has the same high standards as you. Only enter in to this is if you are sure that their product will be of benefit to your list members – otherwise this technique will do you more harm than good! So once you have decided on this approach, you need to decide who the best people are for you to partner with. There are a number of places where you can look for people to partner with. Many of them also have the facility to give feedback so you can check out feedback from others before you decide to partner with them. Chapter Ten Easily Establishing Your Expert Status (And Riding It All The Way To The Top!) So now that you are driving a good amount of traffic and have built a fair size list it’s time to consider your next steps. This marketing strategy is not only going to help you to drive even more traffic, it is also going to provide real value for your list. You are going to firmly establish your expert status! In order to be a true success in this industry you need to be an expert in your field. If you’re not positioning yourself as an expert then there are many other people out there who are and who will happily scoop up your hard earned visitors! Your visitors and your list members want to look up you as an expert. They want to be able to trust in the information that you are giving them and they want to know that they have a lot to learn from you. Equally importantly, they want to believe that you can lead them to success. Developing your expert status is easier than it sounds. The one very important factor however is that you must commit to your own self-development. This is not something that you will be able to blag! Your visitors and list members want your top tips and advice. If you can’t supply them with this, they are not going to hang around on your list for very long! So you need to commit to learning everything you possibly can and make sure that you share it all with your list and visitors. You will be amazed by how much you can learn and how quickly! So work hard at first establishing your ability to give real value, build your contacts via Facebook, Twitter and Myspace, build your list through all of the techniques that we have discussed here and then set up your own group and invite them all to join. As you have already demonstrated the level of value you can give them, they will be happy to be join up. You can set up a forum in all of the normal ways or alternatively you can set up your own group on facebook. Either way, make sure that you advertise this group to all of your new contacts and visitors and invite them to join. The fact that you run your own group is going to give you instant credibility in their eyes. Once your group is up and running you really need to commit to it. This is not the place for sales pitches; this is the place for networking and giving value. Regularly remind your group members to visit your blog and learn more about you. If you do ever recommend products to your group make sure that they are ones that you know without doubt will add value. This way your group will be ready to snap up anything that you recommend to them in future. If you ever recommend a poor or even average quality product, your credibility will be ruined and along with it the loyal following that you have worked so hard to build. Along with your group another really good way to establish your status as an expert is to begin to hold your own webinars. If you have never ran your own webinar before I can understand that this sounds like a daunting prospect, but it’s not nearly as scary as it sounds! The key thing with running an effective webinar is planning! Just make sure that you plan out your content thoroughly and you are ready to go! As with all of these strategies - content is key. Think about delivering real value. The secret with webinars is not to hold anything back. I know that when you discover a good technique it is tempting to keep it to yourself. Don’t. The only way you are going to progress in this industry is to provide value to

others. Keeping secrets and techniques to yourself is all well and good but it will not help you to build a loyal following. And it’s the loyal following that you need in order to sell your products or sign people up to work with you. So dig deep through your treasure chest of secrets, techniques and start sharing! The best thing about a webinar is that you are sharing this information with a select few. Make sure that the people on your webinar know that you are sharing this information with a select few only. It will help them to feel important and valued and in turn will increase their trust in you. This is what is going to help you to build the loyalty that you need. Great options for webinars are to tell people all about something that has worked for you. Take any technique or strategy that has really produced results and paint the picture to help people to see exactly how they can copy everything that you’ve done to produce their own results. I can guarantee to you that as soon as they start to see the results flowing in, they will be back to you, at lightning quick speed looking for more tips, ideas, advice and products that you have to sell. So don’t think you are losing anything by sharing this special technique or strategy of yours – you stand to gain far more than you could ever lose! You can get some great software packages out there now that will support your webinars. Do your research thoroughly, chose the package that’s best for you and start to build your webinars in as a standard part of your routine. Weekly is ideal but to begin with even one webinar a month is a great start. Encourage the people on your list to be interactive. Ask them for their ideas on useful content for a webinar and then go out and research it, making sure you find some amazing information for them. You can also make your webinars interactive and get your list to share their top tips with each other. Additionally you can invite guest speakers to your webinar. Once again just ensure that they are going to add value. Another really great option to increase your traffic through webinars is to open them up and allow your list to invite others. They can use this as a freebie or an incentive with their own list or on their social networking sites. And best of all, you can pull your webinars in to the section that we did earlier about setting your Article Marketing on fire. With every post you write which you then turn in to an article, a tutorial, a PDF, a report, a video and more, you could consider whether that could also be useful content for a webinar. If your answer is yes then don’t hang around. Start working on it straight away. Establishing Your Expert Status (And Riding It All The Way To The Top) Summary & Action Sheet Summary  Your list members and site visitors need to look up to you as an expert in your field if you are ever to build their trust and belief that you can lead them to success.  Starting your own group or forum can be a great way to enhance your credibility in the eyes of your list members and visitors.  Webinars are a great way to continue to develop your expert status as well as providing value for your list members.

Actions  Once you have built up a good number of contacts via your social media sites and have some good traffic flowing to your blog set up your own forum or facebook group and invite your followers to join.  Really commit to adding value, ensuring that you commit to your group and share all of your best ideas, strategies and secrets with them!  Ensure you commit to your own self-development as your first priority to make sure you can provide your group members with all of the information and guidance they need for success.  Encourage your list members to invite other people to your regular webinars to both help to build their credibility as well as allowing you to reach more people and show them the value you can offer.

Final Tips So there you have it, your 10 streams of traffic! You have just discovered my Top 10 ways to pull in a fantastic amount of traffic, all of them helping you to build your list while providing both your list and visitors with incredible value. In turn you are building a loyal following ready to buy your products and desperate to come and work with you! Now all of that information is incredibly valuable in its own right but here’s the most important thing of all – if you only read about these strategies and then file this away somewhere at the back of your digital library then what impact will that have on your traffic? Zero, zip, zilch, none, nada. However you want to say it, unless you ACT on this stuff nothing is going to change for you. So make the commitment now that you are going to put in the hard work, time and effort required to get everyone of these strategies up and running. And once they are up and running, don’t sit back and forget about them.  Never forget ‘Brand you!’ Chapter 5 – Now That you’re An Expert...      

Developing the 3 C’s! Growing ‘Brand You’! Staying ahead of the competition! Expanding your marketing (and money making!) horizons! Connecting with the right people! This is only the beginning!

And all of this for free! So now you’re worried huh? You want to know what the catch is! In fact, you’re wondering whether you should even waste your time reading through page after page of this stuff! After all, if it’s free it can’t be worth much – right? Wrong! Page after page of this eBook is packed full with all of the stuff that you just HAVE to know if you are ever going to be successful in this industry - all pulled together in one easy to follow guide! So why am I giving this to you? If it’s not to take you to a squeeze page to buy something and it’s not to sell an affiliate product then what’s in it for me? I never recommend a product only because I am an affiliate for that product, in fact the very opposite is true - I only ever become an affiliate for products that I would recommend! Releasing the Magnet Within! If you’ve ever heard of attraction marketing you’ll understanding exactly why this chapter is about releasing the magnet within. If not, then welcome to the new world of MLM marketing! Believe me, things have vastly improved! I am forever having new team members tell me about technique after technique that they have been encouraged to use and how relieved they are to be able to wave goodbye to all of those old, dated and frankly ineffective ways of marketing! The 3 foot rule, talking to people at the gas station, laying on free pizza and beer to encourage people to come to your ‘party’ – (i.e. selling opportunity), flyer after flyer on car windows, giving your business card to anything that moves, hounding your family and friends (and their family and friends!)... I could go on and on!

It’s no wonder that more and more MLM marketers began to turn to the internet to market their business. And it wasn’t long before MLM companies were right behind them, setting up fancy looking websites and giving every distributor their very own page. In fact, many used this as a selling feature to attract new distributors – what could be better than being handed your very own page, selling all the benefits of both the product and the business opportunity that you were recommending without you having to lift a finger? I have no doubt that many distributors have signed up with companies, ready to sit back and let their very own page do all the work for them, supplying them with a forever increasing number of distributors, credit card in hand and ready to sign on the dotted line. Well if one of these people was you, you will know only too well that this is not what you get from your company web page. In fact, generally you are likely to get very little, if anything from it. These pages just don’t work and I’m about to tell you why. Now stay with me on this one while I tell you two golden rules that from here on in you must always follow. Rule Number One: Never, ever try to sell your products to anyone. Rule Number Two: Never, ever try to sell your business opportunity to anyone. That’s right. Don’t try to sell your products and don’t try to sell your business opportunity. I can tell you that this is what 97% of MLM marketers do and this is why 97% of MLM marketers fail. Now, I accept that some of these people will be making a little money selling a few products. Some may have a few regular customers that buy from them month after month. And some may sign up the occasional distributor (who probably won’t hang around for very long!)

I might be being unfair calling these people failures. If they are earning themselves a little pocket money or a few quid to help pay a bill or two at the end of the month then all credit to them. They’re doing a good job. But if that’s what you are looking to do, then you are looking in the wrong place. Go back to your upline and their old methods and slave away day in and day out until you earn yourself the extra few pounds (or dollars, Euros or whatever other currency you may be in) you’re looking for! However, if this is not what you’re after you’re in the right place. Let me get one thing straight, I got in to this business to change my life. Now I know that sounds like a cliché and I accept it is an overused phrase. But what you really need to understand is that although most people fail in this industry, those who do succeed can achieve amazing success! This industry really does have some very real rags to riches success stories and you really can be one of them! Stay with me and I am going to tell you how! So let’s get back to the business of never trying to selling your products or business opportunity to anyone. Now this sounds insane right? And I can really understand why you might think that. After all, if you don’t try to sell your product and you don’t try to sell your business opportunity then how are you ever going to achieve success? Well the answer is easy – all you need to sell is yourself. However actually doing this – not so easy! Not unless you know how. Luckily for you, I’m going to tell you how! But first let me tell you why you always sell yourself and never your product or your business. In all honesty, there is more than one reason and all of them are important. The first is the age old saying of “People buy people first”. Now I’m sure you’ve heard that before right? And that couldn’t be anymore true than it is in this industry. After all, anyone who knows anything about MLM knows how important it is to have a good sponsor. People are understanding more and more these days that in order to

achieve success you need a sponsor who can provide the expertise, the support and the leadership to guide you to success. I certainly wouldn’t sign up for a faceless opportunity where I had no idea who I would be working with or how they did business. Secondly, people just do not like to be sold to. No-one out there enjoys being told what they want or they need! After all, no-one is in a position to be able to tell you what you want or need but you! So, what do we tend to do when someone tries to sell us something? We tend to close down, to put up barriers and to become defensive. And instead of agreeing with the person who is trying to sell us something, we instead spend our time focusing upon our objections and convincing ourselves and them of exactly why we don’t need their product! In fact this comes so naturally to most of us that sometimes we won’t even buy the products that we actually know we need or want! And thirdly, with so many other sponsors out there, all desperate to sign up new distributors and all presenting the same company provided webpage, why would I choose you above anyone else. After all, you are all selling the same products, the same compensation package, the same company bonuses. How can you stand out from the competition and attract me to you. The only way you can do this is by offering me something different and as you can’t offer me a different product, a different compensation package or anything else that is different to any of your fellow distributors clamouring for my sign up, then what do you have left? The answer is that you have yourself! And that’s what is going to help to set you apart from every member of your competition. You need to launch a brand new brand. Welcome to ‘Brand You’! ‘Brand You’ is going to help you to stand out from the competition for all of the right reasons. From here on in, instead of selling your company, your products, your compensation package or anything else, the only thing that you are going to be selling is yourself! Couldn’t be easier huh? So, now you know that 97% of all network marketers fail because they are trying to sell the wrong thing. Better still, you understand that those who do achieve success do so because they understand that they need to sell themselves! So now you have a clear understanding of what you’ve been doing wrong and how you need put it right – just go out there and develop ‘Brand You!’ Ok, so I know you’re thinking, well that’s fine in principle but how on earth do I go about developing ‘Brand Me?’ ‘How am I going to sell myself?’ and ‘How will developing ‘Brand Me’ have people chasing me, desperate to work with me?’ Well, they are all good questions and am going to guide you through this in two stages. The first stage is the theory in which I will explain why ‘Brand You’ is going to put you in the highly envied position of having people falling over themselves to sign up and work with you. The second stage is the ‘how’ and that’s where the rest of this guide comes in. From here on in, people come to you! ‘Fantastic’, I hear you cry! ‘But how?’ Well the most important question is not how (although we will cover that later in the guide) but why? Why are people going to come to you asking to work with you? Well they are going to come to you because you are going to give them everything they want and need. You are going to know what their problem is and you are going to offer them the solution. And most importantly of all, you are going to position yourself as an expert, not only with the skill and ability to coach, support and guide them to success, but also with the honesty and integrity for them trust in you and believe that you can and will guide them to success. So how do you do this? Well that’s a question we have already answered – you do this through ‘Brand You’! You are going to go out there in to the market place and let everyone see exactly what you have got to offer. You are going to recognise the problems being faced by MLM marketers today and you are going to provide them with the solution that they need. You are going to build their trust in you then you are going to follow through on this trust by always acting with honesty and integrity. You are going to help distributor after distributor to achieve success and in turn you will achieve success! After all, this business is all about achieving success through others – you are never going to be successful alone! So how is this going to have people coming to you asking to join your business? Well once you position yourself out there in the market place as an expert in your field people will want to be around you. You understand that you need to position yourself as an expert in the market place and that ‘Brand You’ is going to bring you lead after lead after lead of people desperate to work with you. So that’s all well and good, but now you need to understand two very important things. Firstly – how do you create ‘Brand You’ and what do you need to consider in ensuring that ‘Brand You’ draws people to you, and secondly, how do you make sure that as many people as possible out there know about it? We are going to cover both of these things throughout the rest of this guide but first of all you need to think about what your ‘Brand You’ needs to achieve...    

It needs to position you as an expert in your field. It needs to show your skill, knowledge and ability. It needs to help people to see your success and how to emulate it. It needs to encourage people to trust you.

Now achieving this is no walk in the park. There is a lot for you to do before you can begin to get the word out and launch ‘Brand You’. And I understand that you may be worried that you’re not an expert. After all, the likelihood is that you are either very new to this game or else you are struggling in it! Well, your first step, before you go on to read any more of this guide or take any action at all is to begin to change the way that you think. That little voice in your head, the one that probably puts you down all of the time, tells you that you’re not good enough, not capable enough and that the chances of you succeeding at this are about as slim as finding a needle in a haystack needs to be re-programmed! After all, we all tend to be our own worst critic! The problem that you have however is that this little voice has the power to unravel all of your hard work very quickly. This little voice has the ability to sub-consciously sabotage even your best efforts! In fact until you start to believe in yourself and talk to yourself with more respect, your chances of success are severely at risk.

Now, I am no expert in psychology but I would recommend you do some research in to the many studies carried out about this. I am confident that it will leave you understanding that the phrase “If you think you can or you think you can’t... you’re probably right!” is very close to the truth! So I’ll leave you to work on that, but what I would like you to commit to is whenever you can, stop that little voice in your head from rubbishing your efforts. In fact, every time you hear yourself giving yourself a hard time consider – would I ever speak to someone else like that? Especially someone whose self-belief and confidence you were trying to build. I guarantee your answer will be absolutely not! So catch it in its tracks, banish it from your mind and replace it with confidence inspiring words about just how capable you are and just how successful you are going to be! And from here on in, there are no ifs, only when! And as that when is down to you, your dream is in your own hands and you are closer to it than ever! So don’t worry that you aren’t an expert yet!
