Monaghan Car gasonline condensing? Even if gaugin was a bad thing, it is the store owners property and they can trade or not trade with whoever they want to..., if this was a free countryAs the northeastern United States continues to recover from Hurricane Sandy, we hear the usual outcry against individuals and companies who dare to charge market prices for goods such as gasoline. The normal market response of rising prices in the wake of a natural disaster and resulting supply disruptions is redefined as “price gouging.” The government claims that price gouging is the charging of ruinous or exploitative prices for goods in short supply in the wake of a disaster and is a heinous crime But does this reflect economic reality, or merely political posturing to capitalize on raw emotions? In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, the supply of gasoline was greatly disrupted. Many gas stations were unable to pump gas due to a lack of electricity, thus greatly reducing the supply. At the same time demand for gasoline spiked due to the widespread use of generators. Because gas stations were forbidden from raising their prices to meet the increased demand, miles-long lines developed and stations were forced to start limiting the amount of gasoline that individuals could purchase. New Jersey gas stations began to look like Soviet grocery stores.Had gas stations been allowed to raise their prices to reflect the increased demand for gasoline, only those most in need of gasoline would have purchased gas, while everyone would have economized on their existing supply. But because prices remained lower than they should have been, no one sought to conserve gas. Low prices signaled that gas was in abundant supply, while reality was exactly the opposite, and only those fortunate enough to be at the front of gas lines were able to purchase gas before it sold out. Not surprisingly, a thriving black market developed, with gas offered for up to $20 per gallon. With price controls in effect, supply shortages were exacerbated. If prices had been allowed to increase to market levels, the profit opportunity would have brought in new supplies from outside the region. As supplies increased, prices gradually would have decreased as supply and demand returned to equilibrium. But with price controls in effect, what company would want to deal with the hassle of shipping gas to a disaster-stricken area with downed power lines and flooded highways when the same profit could be made elsewhere? So instead of gas shipments flooding into the disaster zones, what little gas supply is left is rapidly sold and consumed.Governments fail to understand that prices are not just random numbers. Prices perform an important role in providing information, coordinating supply and demand, and enabling economic calculation. When government interferes with the price mechanism, economic calamity ensues. Price controls on gasoline led to the infamous gas lines of the 1970s, yet politicians today repeat those same failed mistakes. Instituting price caps at a below-market price will always lead to shortages. No act of any legislature can reverse the laws of supply and demand.History shows us that the quickest path to economic recovery is to abolish all price controls. If governments really want to aid recovery, they would abolish their “pricegouging” legislation and allow the free market to function.A man was arrested for buying 10 generators in KY and driving them up to NY and selling them for 2wice what he paid for them.........he had all his generators confiscated and he was jailed for 4 days......Should he have been? Charters Towers Which intermediate and end products come into existence during cellular respiration? I`ve asked this question a couple of times without a good answer, so I`m hoping to get one this time. I have OCD, and I`ve never heard of this being part of that, but I`m no expert.I get intense urges to move around or do something. I used to pace constantly but that has gotten a lot less severe recently, but I still get that urge to basically expell energy I just do other things instead of pace. Whenever I`m in a situation where I want to move but I can`t (on the school bus as a child, in a classroom, etc.) I feel extreme anxiety that I can barely handle. Its been there for a long as I can remember and it is causing a huge negative affect on my life because it causes very bad depression whenever I`m in school so I had to stop going to college and I barely passed high school due to the depression from this. To start off, I am a little bit of a prick to some of my teachers with good reason, and I have a somewhat bad reputation because of it, but I've simply had enough of this crap that I'm receiving and I want to take a stand.I go to a private school that costs 30 grand a year, which I'm very spoilt to have, but so many teachers at my school seem as though they are victimising me.Just to get this out of the way aswell; if a teacher has wit or says something rude, regardless of whether they have this self-proclaimed omnipotent power to give me detentions but here we go.1) My form teacher: This guy is a useless prick and needs to get his head screwed on right, but with employees trusting employees, oh no. I'll quote some things that he has said to me. I was on my phone during form period, texting people. He says 'who are you texting' and I say 'does it matter, you don't know them' and he said 'just wondering because you have no friends.' Or another thing that I remember - whilst in this form period again, which is 10-15 minutes we do nothing before our first class, he told me to rethink my life because his interpretation is that I'm a loner who does nothing. This is a person who teachers art at school because he failed at being an artist, drives a car made in the 20th century, lives in a shack of a house and from what people have told me, his wife is a complete b*tch whose ugly in every aspect (physical, personality) and is just a failure. This is just two of fairly light cusses he has pulled on me this week - also I'm not the one to break down into tears over something like this, it's just I am getting in so much trouble with school for all this crap so I need to start sticking the finger.HOUSE TEACHER - this guy I've got literally nothing to do with asides from the fact I'm in a house with him, which I barely associate, but for some reason he swarms to me daily. Once again, this guy is a complete failure, living in the ghetto of my state, cheated on by his divorced wife and lives in horrible house by ghetto standard. He is so patronising; when he talks to me, he's got all these smart comments to say through being omnipotent, bulging and staring his eyes at me whilst having a serious conversation, gets angry over tiny things such as him giving me a saturday detention for not bringing books to a study period because he denied by request to see another teacher about study strategies. LIBRARY TEACHER: This one is fairly recent, but I go to the library with a few friends at lunch time and we tend to muck around. There is this little pillow place in the 20+ chairs that are there, which are made out of literally cardboard. Never the less, I throw pillows at my friends sometimes for fun, and when a teacher comes over quickly put them back into place. The few times the pillows have been on the ground (which I've only participated in a few times), I out of the 5-6+ people am asked to pick it up and am banished from the library for that day. During a period where I was feeling sick today, so I more or less skipped a period and stayed in the library around the toilet, I was accused of breaking a chair foot and am being forced to pay for it. They keep making accusations saying 'you were the only

one there' whilst the time they said it happened, I wasn't even there, and then she told me to leave her sights.JUST FOR THE BENEFACTOR: All these teachers have horrible reputation along students, as in being hated, but I'm one of the very few that will talk back and be a smart a*s to some of the most ridiculous things I get in trouble with.Just to add to this glorious piece, I'm 16 turning 17, in my second last year of high school and am so excited to finish this crap. how to reduce gas consumption in a car the first car made by henry ford. Vermont Is the 2013 Ford Mustang GT a reliable car? I was asleep in my car on Saturday, March 2, 2013. It was between midnight and 1'oclock in the morning when I decided I wasn't going to drive, but I was going to fall asleep until I felt safe to drive. I had been drinking a few amount of beers (4-5) a few hours before that. While I was asleep somehow my car moved backwards a little bit (it was on an incline) after my emergency brake WAS already up. Yes, it is a manual transmission car. The store clerk called the cops while I am still passed out asleep in my car, engine was on (it was 20-25 degrees outside, way to cold to sit in there witout heat), and I was in the drivers seat. I got out of the car when I was woken up by the cop knocking on my window. He claims he smelled alcohol and my eyes were bloodshot (I just woke up from good sleep, of course they would be). I was asked to perform a few sobriety tests while in a t-shirt and jeans at a 5'10, 130lbs, slim person in the below freezing cold. I told them I would not do them out in this cold, they insisted on still asking me questions and to perform another test, which i still refused to do in the cold, but I was very cooperative and was respectful to them which they acknowledge to me and thanked me for being respectful and under control for them later on that night. Finally, I had enough of the freezing tempature sending me chills and shivering all of the place, I asked if we could go inside and perform these tests and talk inside, they agreed. I walked ahead of them into the store, they never grabbed me and helped me walk nor did they ever NOT understand me when I was speaking to them. I had to walk on the skinniest line ever, which they did in between the chips isle and candy isle. They were behind me so they could not see how well I did from me doing my nine paces away from them and slowly turning towards them. A clear view of me to see how I did is the only way to rate how I did, but they put "poorly". From there, I did the finger in my face and follow it with my eyes, for the second time that night (the first being outside in the cold shivering) like he was unsure on if I was truly intoxicated at all or not. Once I was done with that, we walked outside (no help yet again) except they walked in front of me (two cops). After we got outside, they turned towards me and advised me to turn around and that I was going to be taken in for a DUI. I replied ok, turned around, and had my hands behind my back before I was even turned around for them. I was put into the cop car, taken to the jail, and they did my breathalizer once I got there with the machine, INTOX EC-IR II. I have done research on it and it has a lot of faulty readings most of the time and sometimes reads way higher then what you truly are that day or night. I also did other research on it and officers haven't been properly trained on it or do not properly know how it works, and that has made an impact on the outcome of if someone recieves a DUI or not. Is this fully true??? Also, is there a way to get them for neglect for letting me freeze out in the cold instead of taking care of a United States civilian??? Also, I read that a cop was asked by a lawyer how many grams the machine was set forth by him for the person doing the breathalizer and couldnt relay how many per every 210L. Since he could not relay that information the case was dismissed. Is there anyway to ask the lawyer a question about how to dumb it down where it isnt so hard to explain??? Also, my BAC level was .121. That was at 04:44:11AM, I was arrested around 4:15AMish. Is there anyway I can recieve help as to the best questions for my lawyer that I will be meeting on Thursday and he will be going to court for me on 11 MAR 2013. Also, I have nothing else on my record EXCEPT this DUI now. My bond was $500, which is VERY VERY VERY cheap for a DUI. I just need legal help and questions I should ask my lawyer! Thanks! The whole "it wasn't to cold for the police, it wasn't to cold for you", doesn't apply. If I would have gotten frostbite for some odd reasoning, or highly sick, it is possible to get them on something... even if they were super warm and I wasn't.
