e have been involved in a deep and lasting change for some time. The reason for this change is our will to develop and move forward to generate new references regarding clays and machines into our market. Soon, through this newsletter, through the press, with our sales team, during the next events we will take part in, you will discover and test a new range of machines. With always the same attention to quality for the choice of the materials and the design, the innovation bears our mark. The news will be certainly transmitted by our distributors and representatives. The success of the last Olympic Games with our Flash速 clay reinforced our excellent image and our machines worked perfectly as usual. The outstanding results of our champions speak for themselves. The Olympic records in OT and Skeet are once again evidence that we are at the
core of competition. Congratulations to Vincent Hancock and Kimberly Rhode, Olympic Champions, but also to Anthony Terras for his 17th position and Veronique Girardet for her 10th position! The Commonwealth Games and soon the Rio Games are within our sights. We provide active support whenever possible at all the fairs and competitions: Shot Show in Las Vegas, British Shooting Show in Stoneleigh eleigh (UK) and IWA exhibition in Nuremberg. Our team is ready. Happy reading!

E V E N T 2 0 1 3 IWA INTERNATIONAL SHOW 40 years of the IWA & OutdoorClassics success story in Nuremberg The national product show for the retail gun trade and gunsmiths opened its doors in Nuremberg for the first time in 1973 with just under 100 exhibitors. The international name IWA & OutdoorClassics is due to the rapidly increased importance beyond the borders of Germany and the multi-theme range of products, which covers the spectrum between traditional craftsmanship and innovative ideas for outdoor equipment, functional clothing, hunting sports and shooting sports. In the 40th year of its existence, IWA & OutdoorClassics 2013 presents a more attractive, more colourful and more comprehensive event that is a must for trade and industry. INTERVIEW Editor : In our Newsletter, we will present the jobs of our company to our customers. Sebastien, you are responsible for the Research & Development Department. Could you talk us about your job? Seb : « Yes, sure. I am working for the Research and patenting. So it’s confidential. » Editor : Do you have a current project? Seb : « We are creating a new machine. The energy is high here. » Editor : A short notice for our readers? Seb : « I will simply say that the upgrades and innovations to this new machine will make a big row in the clay-shooting community. I cannot tell any more. » Editor : Upgrades, innovations? How is a new machine thought? Seb : « In fact, we listen to the market, the feed-
backs from our representatives and the he Laporte after-sales department too. Our thinking king process is traditional enough. A Laporte machine chine needs to last. Do you know that we refurbish bish 30-year old machines? . » Editor : « Traditional, what do you mean? Seb : « I am working with the last 3D design tools. We have a test st laboratory, we consult the d our ur tes esting procedures are the es best suppliers and testing most binding on n the mark market. rk ket e . For example, we have some machiness tested in live lliive ve firing firiring on test bench on a 24 hour/7 day ay basis. Firi Firing rriing g eve every v ry 4 second! When I say “traditional”, al”, I am talking tal alk alki al kiing g about our industrial inheritance. The thinking e way of thi hiin nk kin ng which made, I think, the success of our firm. Today, Today, saTo vings through disposals are thought. hought. This is not our position. My customer is not only nly the user off the machine, the club but also my installer aller and my y colleagues from the after-sales service, including ncluding our technicians all over the world. We have many contacts here and the feedbacks ks help us. This is a part of the story of the unbreakable arm.
Editor : « Unbreakable arm? » Seb : «The arms of the majority of our machines are unbreakable because this is a part which is more subject to poor handling than to the risks of the normal use of the machine. A clay does not weigh more than 110 grams! Poor handling such as a forgotten pole too close to the machine when the trajectory is settled, the bad habit to put the clay box on the arm while loading the machine or the simple handling of the machine when lifted by the arm. This is the experience. We have understood that the savings about the material have the risk of compromising not the normal operation of the machine but its daily use regardless of the conditions. Break an arm just before a competition is the nightmare of any organizer. Our motto: Professional material for professionals ! » Editor : Is our added value? Seb : « Our customers often say: “we just have to see your machines to see where the quality is” and this is the truth. » Editor : See you soon for the launch of our new machines Seb : « Sure »
Transmitter Contact us for the price
MANY OPTIONS A range of 200 meters, up to 300 meters on a completely open field. Ergonomic body of the transmitter specially studied for best taken in hand. Possibility of direct triggering of any double by pressing both buttons Low level of consumption of the transmitter allowing a very big autonomy in the range of 300,000 triggers with the same batteries (alkaline batteries 1.5V – LR03). A red light comes on for the control and will become green and flash to inform about the need to replace batteries (the operation is still possible but with a limited range).
Thanks to the impermeability of the boxes (of the transmitter and the receiver), there is no more need of reinforced boxes. Best reactivity of the receiver (response time much shorter). Extension of the possible receiver up to 8 way, by adding extra relays and terminals which can be delivered separately. The box is still equipped with 8 cable glands for the release of the clays. Completely pluggable Connections and relays of the receptor allowing a fast intervention. Unpolarized power of the receptor from 12 to 24V AC or DC. Built-in antenna inside the receptor (no more antenna wire out of the box). Available with 2 frequencies: 433 Mhz (Europe) and 868 Mhz (USA).

WHO WE ARE ? magine a team with a worldwide playing field. The life here is a little like this‌ There are, only at the Headquarters, discussions in English, Italian, Russian, Spanish, German, which come from the offices of the export team, the after-sales department‌ Nearly 10 languages are crossing on a daily basis. For the new entrant, it is confusing enough. A French discussion suddenly switches to English because one of our distributors is calling. We are talking about catalogues and price lists but which of them? In Pounds, in Dollars or in Euros?
At Laporte, we think and we work worldwide. Machines are sent to Mongolia, a distributor needs to be helped in Thailand, a competition in Rio. Our job makes us travel.
Beyond the anecdote, this daily exercise develops a natural tendency to be curious and try and understand the others. It is sometimes complicated to gather the amount of data collected by everyone but when our aims are reached, all a team wins, the firm wins and finally our customers win too. Our marketing actions will increase, just as this newsletter. This is the will of all a team moving forward.
